First ever AAS cycle and in agony!

Hey guys, first off i'd like to say this site is amazing! Everything I needed to know was on this forum, so much help.

I'm on a Test Enanthate going for a 10week cycle injecting 500mg/2ml a week (Every Tuesday)

Very excited to see what happens as this is my first ever time of using...

Heres my problem, I've chose to pin my quads... Just because it's so easy, it's there in front of me with full control.

I'm injecting right in the middle of my quad half way between my knee and my hip to the outer side.

Week 1 = Injected at about 7pm felt good, went to bed about 10pm... I woke up the next day in AGONY when I say AGONY I mean it felt as though Mike Tyson was taking a swing at my leg everytime I tried to move it... I physically couldn't make it to my en-suite which is right next to me and I couldn't get to work! Hurt for about 6 days getting better per day.

Read up on it here and it's quite normal as its a virgin muscle, so I thought okay I will be fine for next time I just need to massage it and go and work on it at gym for my second shot.

Week 2 = Injected at about 7pm went much smoother this time, straight in slowly injected, Massaged it for about 10 minutes... Put a heat pad on it and then went to the gym and trained legs, stayed up till about 1AM because I was scared if I rested it I was gonna be in pain again

Woke up in agony AGAIN! wasn't as bad as the first time but damn it hurts so much! Its enough to put me off using anymore but such a waste! Had to go work and explain I fucked it in the gym for the second time, I cant keep blagging about this!

What should I do!??
 
what kinda gear you running? sometimes the pip is worse on some UGL's
its gonna get better, just keep goin with the cycle and each shot should hurt less and less, maybe try some different sites like glutes or delts... and theres lots of videos online that show easy ways to inject and the right spots.
 
You should be doing one ml twice a week, especially for your first cycle.... One mL every 3.5 days, helps keep the test level more stable... try one mL every 3.5 days and let us know how it goes.
 
Test Enanthate, I will have a look what lab when I get it out again, but yeah I was seriously debating my glutes but I'm scared if I get the same pain in my glutes as I have in my quads all hell will break lose lol! It really is bad enough to put me off injecting the 3rd week though but I really don't want to!
 
Aside from virgin muscle, 500mg shot is a lot for virgin muscle...so why not split it 250 might be a lot easier on you.
 
I've had the exact pain you've had in the quad before. It was a one time injection because i had to do it myself. I tell you what though, anyone would agree with me. PIP in the glutes is far less painful than PIP in the quad. I promise you that.

Please keep updating your status. I am about to start my first cycle too (pretty much the same as you) but 2x250 per week. Wanted to iinject quads but now I do not know....
 
So my next shots on Tuesday, I should pin my glutes instead with 250mg and then again on Friday? Also I only have 1inch needles, is that too short for glutes?
 
Quads are easy guys, lots of acreage there. I found this video when I first started and have followed his advice from Day 1. There are plenty of spots to try on your body, glutes being good as well. I think 1" would be fine in glute, and quad. I'd push it all the way in on quads though. IS this a 23g needle?

You're gonna get pain/agony with virgin muscle. Especially at 500mg a shot. Like said above, split into two doses every 3.5 days. So Tuesday Morning, Friday Night, etc etc. Def split into two shots bro.

Are you on an AI?
 
Hey bro, switch to pinnin your glutes, its easier to move around with a sore ass than a sore leg, u may want to pop a couple ibruprofen in the mornings too, that will help with the pain and definitely switch to 2 x a week instead of once. If u do all of this u may be able to enjoy ur cycle instead of fearing it :) I know I look forward to my pin days!!! lol..have a good one!
 
I can believe no one has stated hes pinning to low. you should be 1/4 of the way down from your hip on the outside. just flex your leg and look at how much more meat is there. I use a 25g 1in also. 1in needle is plenty trust me

oooh and don't massage it. just apply slight pressure with your alcohol pad until bleeding stops if there is any

Try mixing your shit with injectable b12. Also use 25 g needles and heat the gear in the syringe prior to injecting. When using UGL gear, I get horrible PIP even after multiple cycles, but these thing help make it much better.
 
Pin your delts man, I did each quad once and couldn't walk for 8 days, delts theres no pain!!!! Trust me and try out delts.
 
hey guys, im 4 weeks into my test e cycle pinning alternating glutes and it's nothing and i am going 250 tue. and fri. imo split it up and go for the glutes! and just an opinion as a well read newbie throw in some nolva 10mg and smash f&%$ing plates bro!!
 
The Aromatase inhibitor (AI) i'm using is adex, Im going to pin 250mg tomorrow in my glute or my delt depending on how I feel tomorrow haha! But I'm so scared about this pain again
 
oh and its been 6 days again untill my leg has healed... But this time it still hurts a little to touch!

Let us know how it goes, look up some videos on how to pin properly in each site.
