First LAB post TRT, E/T high. Need advice, thanks.

I got my lab results today from PrivateMD. I got the labs done the morning of pin day before pinning of course.

Started testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) in May of this year. I started with a 200/test c 1 x week and 500iu/HCG 2 x week, no Aromatase inhibitor (AI). Everything was great then a few later I began to feel some symptoms normally associated with igh E. I changed my protocol to 100/test c, 250iu/HCG and 1/2 1MG Aromatase inhibitor (AI) every 84 hours (sun morning, wed night). Some high E symptoms went away but not all. Below are my results before testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) and after. I am going to drop HCG for time being. I am not worried about children but ball shrinkage isn't very desireable yet I prefer to get my levels stabilized first.

I am thinking of going with 150/test c E5D, no HCG and 1/2 1MG at least for the next 2 pins. Is that a good idea? I am unsure when to know to stop the Aromatase inhibitor (AI). I imagine by stopping the HCG aromatization should decrease. I am concerned with crashing my E2 though if I continue with the Aromatase inhibitor (AI). Any suggestions are welcomed!

Right now my high E side effects I'd have to say are the decrease in the ability to maintain an erection for long periods of time, and hot flashes once in a while which made me think I had low E2 instead of high.

Pre-TRT:

Prolactin: 8.8 ng/mL (2.0-18.0)
Total PSA: 0.7 ng/mL (< OR = 4.0)
Estradiol: < 15 pg/mL (< OR = 39)
LH: 2.7 mIU/mL (1.5-9.3)
FSH: 5.0 mIU/mL (1.6-8.0)
Free T4: 1.4 ng/dL (0.8-1.8)
Total T: 266 ng/dL (250-1100)
Free T: 42.3 pg/mL (35.0-155.0)

Post-TRT:

RBC: 5.30 x10E3/uL (4.0-10.5)
AST (SGOT): 59 IU/L (0-40) High
ALT (SGPT): 96 IU/L (0-55) High

Estradiol: 86.2 pg/mL (7.6-42.6) High
LH: 0.1 mIU/mL (1.7-8.6) Low
FSH: < 0.2 mIU/mL (1.5-12.4) Low
Total T: 1486 ng/dL (348-1197) High

everything looks OK. I would say your T levels are a little high and E obviously. I personally think this is due to the 2x per week injections, I see more problems with people doing it that way than I do with E5D or E7D injections.

I think its because levels hoover that high consistently and that is not how the body works, levels rise and fall throughout the day. Guys seem to respond much better to testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) e levels rise and fall with testosterone.

I would say back off 50mg and go with e7d injects. take your adex same day of injection.

Thanks DET-OAK, I will post updates based on the new protocol. Will keep HCG off for time being and add "as needed".

The AST and ALT can run high if you are dehydrated.

Thanks, I also was a bit concerned about them but it seems those can be high based on what you said as well as working out the day before (which I had done), taking caffeine (which I had taken), so a lot of different factors can trigger those numbers. I'm also taking the MIC/B-Complex injectable solution from IMT which should have brought those numbers down but I've only been taking it for about 3 weeks or so. I will see what the next test reveals a month from now. I will try to get more sleep, drink more water and skip a workout the day before.

Ok I got new labs in after a 2 week protocol on 150mg E6D, no Aromatase inhibitor (AI) and no HCG. So T went down as expected and E2 went down slightly. Thinking of adding 500iu's 2x a week plus 1/3mg adex EOD. Is that too much, otherwise 1/3mg E2D days?

Balls haven't really changed in size since I changed HCG from 500 to 250 twice a week a few weeks back and since I stopped HCG altogether 2 weeks ago. I guess it hasn't been that long to make drastic changes to the boys :)

Post-TRT 08/04/2012:

WBC: 7.9 x10E3/uL (4.0-10.5)
RBC: 5.30 x10E3/uL (4.14-5.80)
Hemogoblin: 16.3 g/dL 12.6-17.7)
Hematocrit: 48.3 % (37.5-51.0)
BUN/Creatinine Ratio: 17 (8-19)

Post-TRT 08/21/2012:

WBC: 6.6 x10E3/uL (4.0-10.5)
RBC: 5.24 x10E3/uL (4.14-5.80)
Hemogoblin: 16.0 g/dL 12.6-17.7)

FSH: < 0.2 mIU/mL (1.5-12.4) Low
Total T: 727 ng/dL (348-1197)

Bottom line: I seem to aromatize whether with HCG or not and whether I pin twice a week or once a week. So I'm gonna need to use a form of Aromatase inhibitor (AI) one way or another.

Numbers look good except the E2, looks like the Aromatase inhibitor (AI) is the only way for you.

Thanks man, yeah I don't think I've had low E levels since I started TRT. I think After the first 2 weeks or somewhere in between I reached the sweet spot between my T and E levels. I can't wait to feel what's like once E comes down to the 20-30 range, I hope I don't go past it, lol.
