First PCT coming up. Have I planned it right ? Need help

My cycle I am in week 10 of 12 ---------

I am on test-e 250 mg twice a week
HCG 500 iu twice a week
Aromasin 12.5 mg ed

Planned bridge from cycle to PCT -----------

After my last Human Chorionic Gonadotropin (HCG) and test-e pin I plan to :

Continue taking aromasin at 12.5 mg per day for two weeks to control estro while the test-e clears out and then I will stop taking it completely

I will then wait another week (not sure about this) before starting clomid and Nolva (so I start serm 3 weeks after last test-e pin of cycle)

I will also blast 500 iu of Human Chorionic Gonadotropin (HCG) daily for ten days leading to my first day of clomid

My PCT -----------------

Runs for one month :

clomid 100 mg, Nolva 40 mg ed for 10 days
clomid 50 mg, nolva 40 mg for 5 days
clomid 50 mg, nolva 20 mg for 15 days

Does that bridge and PCT seem right to you experienced guys ?

Also, how shitty will could I feel (I know it varies) ? How bad can it really get ?

When during my month of PCT should I expect to feel the worst and for how long ?
During the bridge between cycle and PCT ? At the start, middle or end of PCT ?

I plan to take a break from work around the time when it would risk being the worst.

Looks good man. Start PCT 2 weeks after the last shot. And there's no need for Human Chorionic Gonadotropin (HCG) blast.

i would not run the Human Chorionic Gonadotropin (HCG) throughout the cycle...i run Human Chorionic Gonadotropin (HCG) after my last pin thats normally called Human Chorionic Gonadotropin (HCG) blast...clomid is fine u can add nolva 40/20/10/10 if u desire.

Hey DexterMorgan,

If I follow the sticky in this forum (were I have no explanation except do this) then like you said I should start 2 weeks after stopping the test-e.

If I follow this PCT Calculator | Post Cycle Therapy Calculator were the criteria is exogenous test at or below 100, I get 21 days. I am not quite sure what to make of these differing timeline...

Any additionnal toughts on this ?

I've always understood the half life of test e is 14 days so I always start my pct 15 days after last shot. If you've ran Human Chorionic Gonadotropin (HCG) throughout cycle I don't think there's a need for a blast. (This is coming from a guy who hasn't run Human Chorionic Gonadotropin (HCG) during cycle, only a blast for pct both of my 2 cycles) I also typically do clomid 100/50/50/50 and nolva 40/20/20/20. I've never really understood the tapering down. Maybe someone smarter than me can explain it. Ran two cycles and have recovered great with the above protocol. I guess I don't mind the extra week of pct you're running. Worst case scenario your waisting a week of clo/nolva. Good luck!

Half life of test e is about 6 days. So by day 14 most of it will be cleared out.

Yes half life is listed at 14 days but shouldn't the start date also take into account the amount of test you start with ? Forteen days after your last pin, you are left with half of the test level at end of cycle but that could still be very high if you take a lot of test or very low. That is why I question the 14 days as a rule. Maybe I am over thinking this and 14 days works for what I am doing ?

And what about the way you feel during PCT can it get really bad and when is it at its worst ?

I guess I just don't understand what you're saying about half life. To me half lid meant at the end of 14 days, its no longer in you. As far as how I feel on PCT, I feel weaker. My bench sets went from 225 15 times first set to struggling to get 12. Other than that, I feel normal.

What the calculator is really telling you is to wait 3X the half life, but they use 7 days as the half life. I agree with 3X for 500mg of test E, but I tihk the half life is closer to 5-6 days, so I recommend 15-18 days. Austinite feels 14 days is long enough and that's what he recommends.

I think your PCT front load it too heavy for that cycle. I would just run Clomid at 50 and Nolva at 20 for the full 4 weeks. If you want to double them up for the first few days, you could do that, but doing it for 10 days will likely just make you feel worse without really helping you recover. You should recover fine at the lower dose.

If you ran Human Chorionic Gonadotropin (HCG) on cycle, the blast is probably not necessary, but if you already have it, it certainly won't hurt to do it. Just be sure to stop Human Chorionic Gonadotropin (HCG) 4 days before you start PCT.

Ozzy,

Half life means the time needed to get rid of half the original value. So if end of cycle your T level is say 2000, and half life is 14 days, then 2 weeks later your T level will be 1000, a month later your t level will be 500 and so on. So it is a bit more complicated than saying 14 days without knowing what the starting level is. But as Rumpy says 14 days seems a reasonable value for at least my cycle
