What does that stuff do? I have never taken flax seed oil? Someone want to fill me in? Hi Atherjen(the love of my life)jk.

Flaxseed Oil is a supplement of essential fatty acids (EFA's) that's supposed to help in fat metabolism. Only one Tbsp. is needed per day and yeah, it takes pretty nasty if you take the liquid version straight. I mix mine in my morning shake and never taste it. Or you can try the gel caps which taste like nothing at all.

$30 at Whole Foods? Damn dude, you got robbed. Go to SmartBody Nutrition . They have it for under $5.

Something maybe note worthy that I've only heard from one medical research study is that Flax Seed Oil has been known to lead to prostate cancer in men, but is safe for women. Don't know how true that is. You know doctors, they try to make anything and everything bad to some degree, no matter how good for you it really is. So whatever.

Mix the flax with equal parts safflower oil to up the Omega-6 and get all your EFA's in one shot. They are known to help with alot of bodily functions, including test production. A definite must for a healthy, low fat diet.
