Hey all
Wow. Time flies. Been awhile so I guess an update is overdue. Lot's of stuff going on at work. I work in the oil and natural gas industry and the low oil prices have a lot of bad stuff going on. Lay-offs across the board etc. My job is safe but were having to cover the guys that are gone so it's a freakin madhouse for sure. Also, just bought a house and am moving to another state. I was supposed to start my new diet with 3J but I've been on the move steadily travelling for the last 3 months. Even though I haven't been able to follow his diet, I have been using the "principles" and have lost 40 lbs. in the last 3 months. Too much too fast you say? Probably right but I'm really big so that first 40 pretty much fell right off. Haven't been able to start working out yet but I have a bedroom at the new house that will be a dedicated home gym!
Anyway, enough excuses. My last test results were a little off so adjustments to my protocol are necessary:
Current protocol when labs were drawn:
T: 200mg week (100mg every 3.5 days)
HCG: 800iu week (400iu every 3.5 days)
Anastrozole: 0.5mg twice a week
Total T: 1579 ng/dl High (348-1197) Yowza!! No wonder I feel so good!!
Free T (Direct): >50 pg/ml High (7.2-24.0)
E2 Sensitive: 32.6 pg/ml (8.0-35.0) Feels OK. No sides.
SHBG: 26.3 nmol/L (19.3-76.4) Pretty much the same as it's always been.
PSA: 0.8 ng/ml Yay!
TSH: 1.47 uIU/mL (0.450-4.50) That's crept up a little. Started at 1.0 Hmmm...
Hematocrit: 52.9% High (37.5-51.0) Dang... Time to start donating.
Platelets: 386 x10E3/uL High (150-379)
ALT: 53 IU/L High (0-44) Not sure why that's high. Rapid weight loss maybe?
Creatinine, Serum: 1.30 mg/dL High (0.76-1.27)
BUN/Creatinine Ratio: 8 Low (9-20)
OK, not sure why my liver and kidney values are out of whack. I probably did lose too much weight too fast.
Going to re-adjust my T protocol as follows:
T: 140mg weekly (70mg every 3.5 days)
HCG: 800iu weekly (400iu every 3.5 days)
Anastrozole: 0.5mg twice a week. Going to re-evaluate with BW in a couple of weeks. Thinking E2 is going to come down with reduced T dosage.
Overall, I feel really good. Normal sex drive. Occasional morning wood. No E2 sides. Can't complain.
Any comments appreciated. Thanks for looking.
