Why only $5 ?
If that was 199 g of fat, his daily caloric intake would be >3400 kcal...

Can of tuna= 15 Protein, 1 fat, 70 cal

A can of my tuna is 13g protein,0 carbs, 60 cals and .5g fat per serving
there are 2.5 servings per can

so totals of 32.5g protein, 0 carbs,150cals, and 1.2 g fat per can.
Maybe you are getting more than you think.

btw.. my tuna is Starkist chunk light tuna in water.

Dam your right . . . I thought I checked all the packages correctly. I also use Starkist, but solid white. a serving is 1/4 and there are 2.5 servings in a can. 15 protein (perserving) which equals to 37.5 g per can.

Thanks I made my quata of 200 + g of protein per day.

P.S. How can you eat the Chunk Light, that stuff is harder to swallow that the solid white?

Is there a way to get the % of this numbers? It has been over 16 yrs since i've done any math so any help would be appreciated.

Protein Fat Carbs KCal
221.50 69.20 371.90 3,146.00 Day 1
252.95 76.90 442.50 3,320.60 Day 2
212.00 75.60 483.00 3,372.50 Day 3

I'm just trying to get an idea on where my % is (ex. protein 40%, Fat 20% & Carbs 40%)

I used the following to figure your calories
Protein = 4
Carbs = 4
Fat = 9

Protein Fat Carbs Cal
Day 1 221.5 69.2 371.9 3146
Calories 886 622.8 1487.6 2996.4
29.59% 20.78% 49.65%

Day 2 252.95 76.9 442.5 3320.6
Calories 1011.8 692.1 1770 3473.9
29.12% 19.92% 50.95%

Day 3 212 75.6 483 3372.5
Calories 848 680.4 1932 3460.4
24.51% 19.66% 55.84%

The first #'s are the ones you provided, the second line is my figured calories based on your numbers. the third line is the percentages of my figures. Let me know if any questions.

P.S. here is a good website for percentages
Percentage web-site

Thanks for the site Longball.

I've been using the cal listed on labels (ex. Starkist solid White has 15 g of protein per servinng and in a serving it states it has 70 cal. am i better off just adding up the protein and x that by 4?

Thanks again.

That has always been the rule of thumb from what I have heard
Protein - 4
Carbs - 4
Fat - 9
