Free testosterone levels and reference levels

Hello

It's not about TRT, but generally about T levels.

I've just checked my free testosterone levels , and to be honest I don't know what to think bout them.
So its: 41,09 pg/ml. Reference range on my results are: 4,5 - 42. So first thought was: that's great! But when I started searching, I found totally different reference ranges, f.eg: 32-168 pg/mL...

So according to first reference range, my free T is great, but according to latter it's shitty as fu**.

Give me your opinion on that pls!

Btw I'm not on gear for over 2 months. Also couple moths earlier I've done total T check, and it was about 340... I'm also not on TRT.

I would be concerned about your Total Testosterone. That puts you in hypogonadal territory if that 340 is in ng/dl. Was your Total Testosterone normal prior to your cycle (hopefully you ran precycle labs)? You may not have recovered from your cycle yet. Did you do PCT?

Ok a little bit of timeline here:
Jan-Feb 2013 - dianabol cycle, no PCT;
april-may 2013: total test 340 (i know it might have been because of lack of PCT);
july - august 2013: 500ed/week test enan cycle (and 1 month PCT after that: nolva plus clomid)
november 2013: free test 41,5.

I hope this will clear a couple of things. So i know total T 340 was too low, but after my last test cycle I think I've done proper PCT. So my question is what do you think about my recent free T result (41,5)?

You can't go by free T alone. Get your Total T, estradiol, LH and FSH checked. That will show if you have recovered.

Sound advice. But without knowing where he was before cycling with lab work, it's hard to gauge recovery after the fact.
