frustration mounts

I have been diagnosed with low t, after a run on trans dermal patches 2.5 and 5mg my doctor switched me to 1ml injection every other week. My follow up blood test was total test of 80 L ng/dl. Test was increased to 1ML every week. Now I seem to feel even worse physically and mentally and my testicles ache and feel softer that before.

No testing has been done for any other levels, and not for a lack of trying. I am dealing with the V.A. and have no other ins.

I guess my question is where should I go from here, I do not think that I will be able to convince my current doctor to run all the tests that I have been reading about and or prescribe HCG which I think I need.

Are there any low cost clinics in the San Diego area? Anyone have any experience with doctors in Mexico?

Diggerski -- there was a thread posted a little while ago about how to get your lab tests done cheap. Read this on it.

I just did it for the first time and I was extremely happy. It only cost $50 with the coupon code that you can easily google. Just get the Female Hormone Panel (for men) like it describes (Total T, FSH, LH, CBC, Metbolic Panel and Estradiol (sensitive test). Get this lab work done to see what you are coming in it.

Also, my right testicle hurt for the first week or two after I started TRT. I would describe it as a dull ache. They feel fine now -- but they are shrinking as I am not taking hCG. How long have you been on treatment?

Thank you. Do you think that I should ad Progesterone to the test, or will Estradiol indicate if this test is needed?

I have been on treatment for about a year now, injecting for the past four or five month's.

I don't know. If you are worried about it see how much it would cost to get the test done and decide if it is worth it.
