Vegetable Based Protein Powder

Gemma Protein Isolate is derived and isolated from peas and its natural protein fraction, which possesses a low level of denaturing and is very soluable (mixes very well). Gemma is NON-GMO, low allergenic and gluten free.

Has anyone tried this yet?

I think taht only Cnizz have tried it , here is what he says about gemma protein :

digestion to be at approximately 2-4hrs, somewhere in the same area that Egg digest at and in between a whey or casein product. The mixbility is unmatched, it is very smooth and at over 95% BV it is an amazing product!

I'm going to get a pound of it and try it out before I make a big order on it.

I hate veggies, so its funny that I am even thinking about a vegetable based protein powder

I made an order yesterday and thought about purchasing some Gemma but I didn't. Maybe I have an ego problem but I am not comfortable trying to build muscle with a veggie based protein. My favorite powders are egg and casein.

I just feel like I am better off with meat, poultry, fish, eggs, and casein for trying to build muscle. I understand I don't need to rely on Gemma as my main protein source, I could cut my other powders with it. But if I want 40 - 50 grams of protein every 2 - 3 hours, I want it ALL to be from meat, poultry, etc.

Maybe I need some sense bitch slapped into me.
