General Question

SO i've been working out for over 3 or 4 years and I've only recently been introduced to supplements. SO what I really am looking for is unbiased opinions (oxymoron?) about what are a good set of supplements to take to gain muscle mass. I don't want specific products, just general stuff.

As of now I'm only using Creatine, and whey protein.

I do not want to use steroids or any questionable products.

Any suggestions would be awsome.

I would imagine this sort of thread would be common and ask myself why there isn't a sticky on such a topic.

Thanks :)

great list of benefical supplements imo:
creatine
whey protein
multi vitamin
antioxidants (extra vitamin C/E), green tea
ALA (alpha lipoic acid)
glutamine
dextrose(for post workout)
fish oil caps
flaxseed oil
ephedrine
ZMA(for recovery/sleep)

I dont think that Ive left anything out... these are just the basics

Agreed!:)

whey

fish oil
green tea
maltodextrin
Ephedrine/caffeine
creatine

About all lyou need, dont buy into the hyper of most supplements out there.

YJ got that right, with creatine on the bottom of the list. I've tried it, (coupla different strengths and brands) and have gotten NO RESULTS.

i never really got any good results from creatine until about the third or fourth time i took it... now it just seems to do more and more each time i take it. loading is essential though!!!!!! btw, i'd add yohimbine hcl to that list of supps for cutting!

yup

Man I didn't even load creatine, and it helped a lot.

Weight, and strength wise,
It's allmax 4th gen Creatine, I love the stuff!
I guess i'm one of those people who wasn't getting enough of it through diet alone

I agree with YJ's list. New creatines kick ass(NOZ, Kreataine, Swole V2).
