Because of the danger factor or something? I have been using it for awhile now, long ago I didn't like it now I live by it.

yea the added danger is a factor. but i have seen guys have the bar roll over thier thumbs with a full grip too. its ugly. esp with the way we bench now. going so low down on the belly. the bar is sort of teetering at the bottom.

here's a nc boy hittin 805. he has a an 851 in the gym.

From what i know....He didn't hit it for a double.

The guy lifting the bar off actually gets nosebleeds from helping lift the bar off.
