Glutamine intake?

You people are crazy. I've been taking glutamine for years and the shit works. If I have a constant amount of glutamine in my body I notice a HUGE difference. I take 20 grams pre-workout and 30 grams post and 10 before bed. i recommend not taken the heavy dosage if your stomach can't handle it. "Glutamine doesn't work" let me guess protein is a waste as well?

Thank you bro. Almost felt like I was going to get gang-raped for using the stuff.

Glutamine is 60% of the squelettique muscle, taking 10gr after training and 10 gr before bed and you see the next morning that your muscle is loaded pump. amino acid is rated 9of 10 in your supplement.

if your in a tight budget on your supplements do u guys feel I would be better off investing in BCAA's over glutamine?

at the moment I'm taking both pre and post WO, but trying to cut back on some costs.

Danchubbz. The fact that you take bcca's will keep your glutamine pool protection, using both is very wise.

if you cut the glutamine be sure to take 2 shake of whey per day. bye

i probably need to up my dosage.. been taking about 20-25 grams a day, will up it and see what happens...

This thread is too funny... after being away from this board for a couple of years, it amazes me that this topic is still being debated with such energy. I know what you're saying Finaboy, I used to worry about getting gang raped myself for using glutamine, only a couple of years ago it was a few other clowns (one in particular whose name escapes me) who had a hate-on for glutamine, posting all kinds of studies and excerpts from articles. The one punk in particular, I swear he just had this shit sitting on his hard drive, waiting for the opportunity to copy and paste any chance he got. Too funny...
In any case, glutamine is very effective. (haha, the nay sayers really get their panties in a bunch with such comments, especially when they are not backed up) My recovery time goes down by 57.5% (hind-coulter lactic acid displacement method administered by Happy the Clown).

57.5% sounds like i can start working out twice as hard..hahaha

Gonna try the mega dosing since i've only done 5g and 5g in the past with no benefit...it's in the mail.
