glutamine?

i wouldn't bet all the marbles on it.

when exactly were you looking to get benefits from it being anti catabolic?

although there is conflicting reports, the main use of glutamine is for it's benefit in aiding the digestive system to work more efficiently to digest food

usually the sources still claiming it as anti catabolic and anabolic are the ones trying to sell it

do you take it on workout days only or on non workout days as well?

I use it everyday... generally before training as well as in the evenings before bed. I take it for recovery from grueling mma workouts, muscle endurance, as well as the possible GH level increases by taking it at bedtime.
In my opinion the average joe probably isn't going to see awhole lot of benefit from taking it but the BB'r or athlete who trains long and intense can definetly benefit form supplementing with Glutamine.
I also take it along with BCAA powder, Beta alanine, and CEE.
