GNC/Vitamin Shop ect....

Let me start off by saying for one i hate most of these large coorprate companies that have workers trying to pedal off expensive useless products to earn their 5 dollar commision. Brainless assholes.

But on the other hand i decided to take a quarter off from school (Rough shit goin on at the homefront) so i decided i might as well get a job while i am home for a few months.

So has anyone/ does anyone work at one of these type places or have any info on some sort of path i could take into this type of buisness?.... ya i kinda just want a discount for a few months

I'd strike up a convo with the mrg or workers at gnc or etc then ask if you could fill out an app.if you look to be in good shape and show to have knowledge on stuff I would think you'd have a good shot at being hired.

Ya i used to know the guy at the place by my house but that was before i left for college awhile back. From the conversations that i have had with most of the employees at these places i know plenty and def would look the part. Max muscle is the only place ive been to where i felt the guy really knew his stuff and was not tryin to push product on me, which was nice.

Haha RJ i would have to agree with you on that one (love me some strippers)... Back on campus i bounced on busy nights at one of the bars... lets just say we would have a little tooo much fun sometimes... but i need something a little something closer to home and thought it would be cool to be around stuff i like

Vitamin Shoppe isn't commission driven sales like GNC. Lumping all supplement retailers together like that is stereotyping and I for one do not appreciate being called a 'brainless asshole.' Anyway, most offer a generous discount but it can be painfully repetitive.

Sorry silentbob that was aimed mostly at coorprate GNC's some of the franchised ones the people can be cool and know what they are tlking about. Nothing against vitamin shop other than i have never shoped their due to much lower prices from online sources.. but thanks for the heads up man
