Goals

What are your current fitness goals, both short and long term?

I'll go first.

My current short term goals:
1. To cut about 4% body fat. It's 18.6% right now and I prefer to be about 14-15%.
2. To add 20 pounds to my bench in the next 8 weeks. Currently 115 lbs for reps, I'd like it to be 135 for reps.

My long terms goals:
1. To add about 8 lbs lean body mass. Currently I've got about 120 lbs lbm and I'd like it to be more like 125-128 lbm. I figure this will take me about 2-3 years.
 
Ok I don't know my BF at the moment (and that might be a good thing) but i assume it is high 20's. So...
Short term goals (by end of May begining of June)
* I would like to start dropping bf and drop pants size from a 10-12 to a 8-10.
* I also want to get my workout to be more regular and keep up the regular diet i have been on for about two weeks now
* I want to run a mile without getting shin pain and winded (working on strengthening the shins)

Long term: (by the end of 2004)
* I want to get to about a 20% bf and a 5-6 pants size
* I want to be able to run 5 miles
* I want to be consistantly recording all my meals and maintaining a 1700 calorie diet (of course will accordingly fluctuate with weight and body fat)

Longer term: (by the end of 2005)
* I want to be down to a 14-16% bf
* I want to have a diet that i don't ever think aobut eating off schedule and it is second nature to eat every three hours and maintain a consistant daily calorie consumption
 
Well, I have trouble keeping my weight. I lose weight very easily. I train quite intensely with the weights and I've also incorporated the mixed martial arts into my training schedule as well. I'm always very lean but I'd like to keep my weight at where it is right about now which is 145lbs. I'm 5'8" so much lower than that, and I start to look too thin. Just did my fat not too long ago and I'm sitting at 13%, which i'm happy with.
In terms of training goals, I'm always striving to improve in all my lifts.:)

:bigok: , i like that you include strength goals into your plan :)
 
Well, I reached goal #2 in 4 weeks flat. I can bench 135 for reps. Okay, only like 6, but still. Now, if I'd only reached goal #1 in 4 weeks I'd be set. Ha ha.
 
My goal is to get to 130. Im currently 120 with 10% BF. I like my BF being low and realize I will have to put some on to gain some muscle. I guess my first goal is to get to 135 or so and then loose the extra fat to get to a lean 130. Easier said than done but Im working on it. Chelsea
 
My goals are to get to 14% bf and be pretty tight by the end of may, get better at doing squats- I need to start wrapping my knees, my quads go numb when I squat- tone up my ass and look like I actually have one. I am at 18.5% bf now.

I like to keep my bodyfat low too. It can be tough to put on quality muscle when we're worrying so much about staying so lean...hehe....been there, done that.:)
