Just got some BD Andropen couple of days ago, stuff looks awsome, everything checks out (labels, caps, stoppers and color). Load the first one up, and for like an hour after, at least, all i could TASTE, was oil. First thing i thought was i must of got some on my lips or something, however the hell i would of done that, but whatever. Next day, my buddy that i got it off, shows up to train, asks me if i used it yet, and if i tasted oil after, cuz the same thing happened 2 him! I've never had this b4, and this ain't my first rodeo, so...anyone else ever had this? Kinda weird, but im not 2 worried.

Welcome to the world of IM injections.
You will nic and cut small blood vessles everytime you inject. Many times, a little gear can get into your bloodstream, sometimes the solvents simply come out of the oil in favor for the bloodstream (likes water more than oil). In either case, you can usually taste the chemicals (usually solvent taste). Sometimes it can be bad, and you might cough, sweat, get dizzy etc.
Its a good idea to aspirate before injecting. This is a practice where you simply pull back on the plunger (once deep in the muscle tissue) to see if you pull out any blood. If you do, you know you have cut into a vein. After a while you will get a feel for what a vein feels like when punctured. A steady hand is key! If you shake while aspirating, you will be doing more tissue damage than its worth.
Good luck, and if you didnt read all that - its not uncommon to taste a little solvent post-injection.

went in the glutes monday and again last night. same thing happened again, and the funny thing is that its instantly, by time i pull out im tasting oil. Its really strong smelling also, i even ripped the tops off some old 10ml bottles to compare smell and this stuff has a WAY stronger odour than any others, and i have quite a collection of empties. Like i said b4, was never worried, at all, just something different 4 me, thought i would share. oh ya, and no pain either, ive run Sustanon (sust) b4 thats almost crippled me the day after a shot!

Nicking a nerve sucks balls for sure. Hence the reason I always push the pin slowly.....I'm in no hurry.
