I just got my lab results back & there seems to be an unsual high number which I have no clue what it stands for. Also, my hormonal #'s still look fucked up & the results for total test & estrogen are still pending. My liver enzymes are knda still high. The only thing that improved is my HDL/LDL ratios from the last blood work that I had which was 2 months ago. & my Bun & creatine ratio #'s look good.

Can someone tell me what the heck CK, TOTAL STANDS FOR?????? Iam kinda freaking out...
CK, TOATL 1655 H (38-174)

Are these #'s bad for my liver??
AST 81 H (1-45)
ALT 91 H (1-55)

I think these have to do with "RED BLOOD CELL"?
RBC 5.53 H (4.20-5.50)
HEMOGLOBIN 17.5 H (13.0-17.0)
HEMATOCRIT 51.8 H (37.5-50.7)

And my jacked up partial hormonal #'s which can prove why I have no sex drive.
LH 0.4 L (2.0-18.0)
FSH 0.5 L (1.6-18.1)

Total test & estrogen still pending..... I woulden't be suprised to see the total test being in the 300's again.

My LH & FSH didnt improve at all, even after trying the hcg/nlovadex.

Having no sex drive really sucks ass..... I feel like going back on again

Can someone please shine some light.....

Silverback, hit me up

Not sure about CK.....

.....but these #'s are high:

RBC 5.53 H (4.20-5.50)
HEMOGLOBIN 17.5 H (13.0-17.0)
HEMATOCRIT 51.8 H (37.5-50.7)

You should look at donating some blood to correct that problem.

I just got tested last week mine are
AST 48 H (1-45)
ALT 83 H (1-55)
and my doc says those are a little high and my liver is probably a a little swolen. What was your last cycle and how long ago?

Did you take droll or eq? Your hemoglobin and hematocrit should go down to normal before to long. I would def get another bloodtest to make sure. How long did you stay on nolva and at what dose?

stonecold, so you think donating blood would solve my probelm?

I did 2 cycles this year - first one was PROP/TREN/WINNY/EQ for 12 weeks did my HCG & CLOMID then I took some time off and went back on PROP/WINNY/EQ for 11 weeks. I have been clean since august. I ran hcg & clomid after I came off the second time for 2 weeks, then I was clean & jumped right back on to hcg & nolvadex for another 3 weeks. I did nolvedex at 20mg a day.

WHAT DOES "CK, TOTAL" STAND FOR????? that number is very high....

any other suggestions? thx guys

CK= Creatine Kinase. This is an enzyme assay to determine the status of any myocardial injury. However, muscle damage (other than heart muscle) can cause it to be elevated as well.

CK would atand for... Creatine Kinase. And if the numbers are high it's probably indicating that you got some sort of muscle damage somewhere.... Maybe a muscle cell got open and some of the contents of CK found their way on to your blood stream..

Relax! Given your Anabolic Androgenic Steroids (AAS) hx, all parameters will probably be fine given enough time. I am curious about the FSH and LH levels. Keep me posted on what happens with them.

so it stands for CREATINE KINASE.

How does that # become so high & is it going to effect my health?

thx again guys.....just really concerned

Unless you had a heart attack, I would not sweat it. Any chest pains? Shortness of breath? Chest pain during exercise? Re test it in 4-8 weeks and it will probably be back to normal. Anything that causes muscle damage will raise CK. Injections for example will raise it. Do a search on "Ck blood values" on the net for grins. I would be more worried about your HPTA starting back up!

hold on a minute, READ this post

okay,

ck is creatine kinase, however just about every cell in your body has it so it is difficult to say what is going on unless you know what kind of ck it is (there are 3 kinds, 1 more specific to heart muscle). that being said i would bet the following is what is going on with. if you came off a cycle then it is very likely this number is high because you are breaking down some muscle, post cycle. also, you should not have worked out 24 hours before getting your ck test done because after a workout you will induce muscle damage (this is normal and will happen with everyone) and so will cause an elevated ck. also, did you give yourself a shot or receive a shot within a couple of days before the test? because this will also elevate your ck. i would recommend that you wait a couple of months (similar to my recommendation below for your liver enzymes - AST & ALT) and get your ck rechecked and remember not to work out 24 hrs beforehand if that is possible :).

as for these below, they are not too high. they are barely above normal. i would not be concerned about them at all. i would not give blood or do anything about them. definitely not a big deal. mostly, problems arise if these numbers are too low.
RBC 5.53 H (4.20-5.50)
HEMOGLOBIN 17.5 H (13.0-17.0)
HEMATOCRIT 51.8 H (37.5-50.7)

AST 81 H (1-45)
ALT 91 H (1-55)
these numbers are a bit high. usually, this means hepatitis in the u.s. but before you panic, if you were just doing a cycle, it is very, very likely due to some liver toxicity (were you injecting or taking orals?). however, these numbers also are not too high and since the liver has an incredible regenerative capacity, i would stay off the freakabolon for a couple of months and have them rechecked then just too make sure. again, these numbers are not incredibly high and you do not need to panic.

my recommendations:
-stay calm
-stay off the anabolics for a couple of months
-get liver enzymes and ck rechecked in a couple of months

relax

I have been battling this for 7 years now. The increase in red blood cells with use of anabolics is normal. If you feel that you need to, you can donate blood to lower this. I have had your same readinds on alt and ast. These enzymes are not liver specific....Eating large amounts of red meat will cause and elevation of these levels in your blood. This is your body breaking down the tissues which carry these enzymes. Working out will simply release these enzymes as you break down your own tissues. If you want a more liver specific test you should get a GGT done. Most bodybuilders should have very elevated CK levels. Several friends and I see a network of docs that are younger and wiser to athletes. They see an elevation of Creatine Kinase in most athletes that train hard. Its a good Idea to check and make sure your levels return to normal when not cycling. I have had levels all similar to yours. I have had all the blood work, ultrasounds, and HEP tests done. The last two always come back negative for any probs...Just keep getting your regular checkups...

GGT is another type of enzyme that will show if there is more liver damage. The alt and ast are indicators, but there are other factors that can increase these as I stated in my last post...
