Gyno Question

Ok. I've posted a coupla other times (bitching, mainly) regarding my man tits. I used to be a fat kid, weighing in at 196 or so with over 36 % BF my freshman year of high school. Now, in my freshman year of college, I weigh 197 or so with 10-13% BF. However, when I was fat, I developed some rather large (F***ing huge) gynocomastia, bilaterally. (I read something, scientific research I think, that had to do with fat blocking testosterone, thereby allowing higher estrogen levels, which lead to bitch tits. Am I imagining this link?) Anyway, I've had these since my very early teens, if not a little before, and I absolutely cannot get rid of them. As I've lost fat and gained muscle, they've gotten much smaller, but I still have large fat deposits in my lower chest, around the nipples (which are HUGE in themselves).
I know this has to be genetic, just because of the way in which I showed up so long ago. To give you an idea of how long this has been a psychological and/or physical problem with me, I first discussed surgery with my doctor when I was 13 or so, 14 at the latest. I just never went through with it because I was always a fatass, and I figured that I'd look really goofy with a flat chest and huge jelly rolls everywhere else.
There is no lump behind the nipple or pain associated with my case, although most people complain about these symptoms. It is simply just a fat deposit and enlarged nipple that will not go away, no matter what I try.

Anyway, my questions are:

1) What can I do, short of surgery, to get rid of this problem. I ran cross country the last 3 years, so increasing cardio isn't the answer to eliminating fat in that area.
Would something like what Severed Ties is talking about here work:
Comparison of Tamoxifen with Danazol in the Management of Idiopathic Gynecomastia ALBERT C.W. TING, M.B.B.S., F.R.C.S.,* LOUIS W.C. CHOW, M.B.B.S., F.R.C.S.,* Y.F. LEUNG,? M.B.B.S., M.R.C.PATH.?

Idiopathic gynecomastia, unilateral or bilateral, is a common physical finding in normal men. Successful treatment using tamoxifen (antiestrogen) and danazol (antiandrogen) has recently been reported. We compared the efficacy of tamoxifen and danazol in the treatment of idiopathic gynecomastia. We reviewed the clinical records of patients with idiopathic gynecomastia presenting to the Department of Surgery, University of Hong Kong, between August 1990 and September 1995. Medical treatment with either tamoxifen (20 mg/d) or danazol (400 mg/d) was offered and continued until a static response was achieved. The treatment response was compared. Sixty-eight patients with idiopathic gynecomastia were seen in the Breast Clinic. The median age was 39.5 years (range, 13--82), with a median duration of symptoms of 3 months (range, 1--90). The median size was 3 cm (range, 1--7). Twenty-three patients were treated with tamoxifen and 20 with danazol. Complete resolution of the gynecomastia was recorded in 18 patients (78.2%) treated with tamoxifen, whereas only 8 patients (40%) in the danazol group had complete resolution. Five patients, all from the tamoxifen group, developed recurrence of breast mass. In conclusion, hormonal manipulation is effective in the treatment of patients with idiopathic gynecomastia. Although the effect is more marked for tamoxifen compared with danazol, the relapse rate is higher for tamoxifen. Further prospective randomized studies would be useful in defining the role of these drugs in the management of patients with idiopathic gynecomastia.

2) Just for future reference, when I do finally hit my first cycle in a year or two, would having this preexisting gyno condition make me more predisposed to developing/worsening of my gyno than a normal BBer without preexisting tits?

Thanks,

Oggie

Fat expresses aromatase which converts testosterone into estradiol, more fat - more aromatase - estradiol increases and acts on hypothalamus & pituitary and suppresses testosterone...

You can try tamoxifen @ 20 mg for several months.
Some topical fat loss products might help (if it's pseudogynecomastia)...

You would probably be more predisposed to Anabolic Androgenic Steroids (AAS) induced gyno.

I am interested in this too now that I finally am getting my BF to come down it looks like I might have a case of it too it is definatly from being a fat fuck I only gained weight in my chest and stomach I looked retarded fat stomach and titties then bird legs it was a sight.

Yeah. same here, I finally got my BF down in the 10-12 % range, but the tits still won't get the fuck off of me. They are down from the d's they used to be, but they're still too big for my liking.

I researched the Tamoxifen, and it looks pretty good. Does it come in an OTC form, or just the prescription form?

It is prescription try liquid research they have a liquid version of it.

So is the artice saying that nolvadex (tamaxofien) can treat idiopathic gyno? What is danazol? What are the other names for it?

I actually read an article in Muscle Developement that stated something in the way of Nolvadex can help with gyno after the fact..... I beleive it was the May or July issue........check it out

Yeah. Ive found several articles in online databases showing where studies have shown that tamoxifen (nolvadex) helps after the fact. The only thing I'm concerned about is whether or not it will be as effective on fatty type gyno, since most of the research has been on Type 1, where a hard lump develops in the breast.

BTW, in the liquid nolva on researchkits.com, how long does one bottle of the stuff last, is it oral or injectable (site has oral in parentheses, kinda confused me); basically, I just want more information on the stuff, if anyone has it.

Yes, the articles are saying that nolvadex can treat idiopathic gynecomastia. As for danazol, "It is a synthetic androgen (male sex hormone.) It disrupts the action of the pituitary gland by suppressing the output of some hormones which causes the reduction of estrogen, halts menses and promotes the growth of facial hair and acne." - Copied from www.itppeople.com/danazol.htm.

BTW, if anyone could tell me how many bottles of liquid nolva I'd need(20mg/day for 3 months) and how it is taken, it would be greatly appreciated.

If you're referring to Resarchkits' liquid tamox, you would need 2 bottles.
It's taken orally.

So I would need only 2 bottles of liquid tamoxifen to last me for 3 full months?

Sorry it took me so long to post this, but I still havent acted on this and just thought of this question. (really just wanted some more attention on this topic)

Also, even if the tamox didn't reduce my gyno, wouldn't the estrogen inhibiting effects of it help me to reduce BF to an extent?

Answer to #2 is absofuckinglutely. You are FAR more susceptible to getting gyno while on cycle than someone who doesn't have a pre-existing condition.

Nolvadex may or may not help since it's not AS induced gyno. You could try it but I'd be using 40mg-60mg/ED, as in my own experience 20mg doesn't do jack shit.

Also, keep in mind that even if you do have surgery the gyno can still reoccur. So always have Nolvadex on hand.

I started to get puffy nips recently post cycle I started at 20mg's and it didnt do jack just like Buffdawg said...I am up to 60 mg's the last three days and it seems to be clearing up........ Give it a shot bro , it definitely couldnt hurt!!!!! Good luck!!

So if I went with something like 40-60 mg/day of the liquid tamox, how many bottles would I need of the stuff I was talking about earlier (liquidresearch.com)???? Reason I'm asking this about quantity needed is that I'm a college student on a VERY limited budget, so I really want to go about things as cheap as possible.

Hey man i feel ya on being a college student....... never have enough money and tryin to get the best deal with what ya got....... good luck to ya bro.
