"Hardening" gains

Hi Lads,

Just want to say first of all that i am not intending on cycling, just trying to gather info at the moment. Also realise that adding compounds like mentioned below would not be suitable for my first cycle.

I have read that some guys add certain things to their cycle at the end to "harden" gains, could some one please explain this concept to me?

Cheers

There is no way to "harden" gains. Low body fat, low water retention and high fat free mass creates a hardened look. If you want to look harder, lose some fat. Guys who run an Aromatase inhibitor (AI) on cycle look less puffy. Running an Aromatase inhibitor (AI) off cycle isn't something I would recommend.

Certain steroids will make you hold water and have puffy look. This is where you get alot strength from too. Getting hard comes with time and certain steroids will help this along.
If this makes sense...

oral drugs like var will make you appear harder also. They are easier to take, although liver toxic to a slight degree, but the muscle gain is slight.

I think Essays said it quite well...

As well as Shovel...

How you train and diet will effect the way you look, ie. hardness. But some steroids also seem to give a leaner look than others.

Case in point...I'm on a sustanon cycle and am bloated to hell. But when I was on testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) with enanthate..I was very lean. I am taking double the amount of gear while on cycle...but I still think there's something to the type of steroid as well..
