HCG Dosage - Syringe Confusion

Hi,
I just used pregnyl 1ml at 5000 IU.

I reconstituted all and started drawing the HCG with the inuslin syringes.

The insulin syring is: 1ml at 40 IU


So did the following maths:

250 IU (dosage I need with test shots)
5000 IU / 250 IU = 20
1ml / 20 = 0,05ml

So my dose (250IU) is in 0,05ml right ?


At the insulin syringe are 40 dashes, because 40 IU... So: 1 ml / 40 = 0,025ml = 1 dash


So I always drew 2 dashes = 0,05 ml = 250 IU HCG


However, I only got 9 insulin syringes full with 2 dashes

With my maths it should be 20 ... WTF now I am very confused, I really need the HCG to start my cycle correctly.

You should look at the HCG 101 sticky on this site. Has all the info you need laid out nicely.

I just shot the 2 dashes of the insulin syringe now , I my maths is correct above, these should be the 250 IU ...

Was very hard to find enough fat at my stomach area, so I just shot it above my quad

I know all the stickies. I just wanted to ask if the maths is correct. ?

I dunno where the rest of the 1ml is or why I didnt get the 20 insulin syringes ... I probably messed smth up somewhere, maybe I didnt took all HCG of the Vial and threw it away...

Ten IU is 0.1ml, I don't know what kind of insulin syringes you're using, but unless it specifically states on the syringe that is the conversion rate, you're way over thinking things. The standard is 100iu = 1cc = 1ml.

I messed up and bought some 40 iu slin pins once. They suck and make everything way more confusing. They are marked at 40iu per cc. I guess some slin comes dosed like that.

That's crazy! I figured it was just a mistake, as most insulin I've seen or used is dosed with international units. I learned something new today.

Well, seeing as how I guessed at the situation incorrectly:

If 40 dashes = 5000iu; and doses of 250iu are desired, 5000/40 = 125iu per dash. Your math is correct OP in that 2 dashes would indeed equal 250iu of HCG.

LMAO. Yeah, kind of like how my doctor prescribed me a box of 100 25g 1" INSULIN 1ML pins with slip tops. Of course, I opened the buggers before realizing what he had ordered. *sigh* I have no idea what I'm ever going to use them for either lol. Slin pins for TRT are great, but not with a 25g needle that pops off because you're injecting oil based hormones.

They work okay for TNE. Other than that they just occupy space in my closet that my wife would probably fill up with something even more worthless. I'm a fan of those easy touch pins that are sitting on top of the worthless ones. They are really smooth.

Yep, I have a couple hundred of them, but in the 0.3cc size with a 5/8" needle. Work great for HCG, and the wife's test doses.

It not that hard you divide the IU by the volume of water added to figure out the doses.
