Hcg dosages

I have been reading here and on other sites that the dosage of Human Chorionic Gonadotropin (HCG) that everyone uses is variable. I know for Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT) it is about 500-750 iu per week, some even more. Are there any particular signs and or symptoms to look for to help determine if the dosage should be adjusted up or down?

Thanks

Good question. I think it depends on the size of your testicles. If your taking 250iu 2x week and your boys are still shrinking, then up it a little. I would not go over 500iu per injection as it can spike your estrogen levels too much.

Look at your levels of LH on your blood work.

I was on 250 units 2x per week and blood work showed my LH at <0.7 miu/ml. Wasnt working so we bumped it up to 500 units 2x per week. Balls hangin now!

Great advice. Another, as important, reason is that you may desensitize 'the boys' with greater dosages, remembering that this therapy is for life.

It really depends on the guy. I agree standard protocols are 500-750ius a week.

My Endo had me at 500 IUs a week (3 shots a week) and after a month bumped me to 750 IUs (3 shots a week).

But after just 1 week (3 shots) at 750 I started having some obvious signs of high estro. Mood swings, night sweats, edema in my feet and ankles, etc

I down regulated myself to 500 IUs for the last 2 months. I just got blood drawn today so we'll see where I stand.

I agree with everyone else start low and work up if needed but don't be afraid to drop it if you start getting side effects (or get an AI)
