HCG frozen in syringes. ........

How long is HCG good for if frozen in syringe (and in freezer)?
Does it slowly degrade past a certain date?

I saw a compounding pharmacy post something saying they froze it after constitution. Then thawed every 30 days, and refroze. They lost zero quality in well over 90 days.

I didn't think you were suppose to do a freeze thaw cycle? I was aware you could freeze it, I did not know you could re-freeze it?

They did it to do a worst case scenario...and even then there was no appreciable change in potency after 90 days and three thaws. They did not continue the study, but using that as a guide I would suspect you could keep a constant freeze for 150 or 180 days without any appreciable loss. I would have expected loss of potency from the cycles, but apparently HCG is hardier than we thought!

My doctor prescribed hcg comes to me pre-reconstituted in a refrigerated box. I get 2 6000iu vials. The directions say to refrigerate the first one for immediate use and freeze the second vial until ready to use. I've been doing this for a year now and the hcg works just fine.

I don't think that freezing/thawing/freezing multiple times is good though. Frequent temperature changes isn't really good for any compound.....isn't that how beer goes skunk? lol

water expands and contracts when it freezes... this could damage the pep.... dont freeze it after mixed IMO...

A few different studies have already shown there is nothing wrong with freezing it once.

I actually load my syringes and freeze them in the syringe, prepping them. I have been doing this a long time.

So....

i recently wrote an article on this.. you can find it on the steroidology main page

You're a lucky guy getting those 3000 iu vials.
You can just keep it in fridge and it will be gone in no time.
my pharmacy had the stuff stored on shelf out of fridge when I picked it up....
i have it unconstituted in my fridge...
better to freeze it and use it when ready?

better to keep it unconstituted until youre actually going to use it

They are 6000iu, but yes it is best to keep them unconstituted until ready to use. That would be choice A. You can keep unconstituted hcg in the fridge and it will stay good for a loooong time. But in my case I have no choice as it comes pre diluted, so freezing it is my best option. The directions from the doctor say to freeze it and I've noticed no loss in potency. Going by testicle size only though.
