HCG only TRT protocol vs. exogenous testosterone TRT

Can anyone share their experience with HCG only TRT protocols? I have read the article about this type of TRT a few days ago, which says that HCG only protocol is a better alternative to exogenous testosterone (injections, gel, etc.) protocols because with HCG protocol you have your natural testosterone up vs. exogenous testosterone in latter case.
Please share your thoughts.

HCG is suppressive and will shut you down regardless. If you're going to be on TRT you may as well do it properly with test + HCG.

It's partially supressive. Test will shut you down harder.
Don't forget the pituitary is still working some on HCG mono protocol and the testicles are most definitely working to their max.. capability while on HCG mono.
If you can hit the upper quartile in T levels with HCG mono you are far better off putting TRT to the side for a while till you really need it.
Its like a factory with workers that work hard and keep the plant running well...
You don't juat fire them and shut down the factory do you?
Same thing with this....atleast in my view.

You mean that your balls have some sort of a limit of work hours beyond which they will not work at all?
I think it is a good thing if my balls work at max, they are like muscles, if you exercise them they stay firm, if you do not then they get soggy (not working well in a case of balls). So , to me it looks like good idea to use HCG to stimulate balls to produce more tests. I'm looking for any negative sides of this approach....

HCG mono is great if your nuts actually work and will accept the signals and make the test levels needed.

Are you primary or secondary hypogonadal?

Why would you look for negative aspects when you are obviously in a bind and need treatment?
Having natty T functioning at optimal level sounds like a win -win to me.

I agree with yo. I'm not looking for negative aspects, i'm looking for reasons to why do it and why NOT to do it. Which way is less complicated and need less maintenance, more effective, less side effects, etc.

Im on an HCG only protocol. I recently had to increase my dosage from 1500ius to 3000ius

Is that per week in a single injection?
What are results from this protocol before increase and after? What your natural TT level was initially, what you got with 1500IU and what you expect with 300IU? In what time period? Would you please elaborate...

testosterone serum : 458 ng/dL
LH : 5.5 mIU/mL
FSH : 6.3 mIU/mL

So you are not hypogonadal. Your TT may not be ideal for your age, but it isn't terrible. Generally lifestyle changes can bump it up too. Get your dietnin check. Lose weight. Play a sport. Get in the gym. Have lots if sex. Get plently of quality sleep. Check for sleep apnea and hypothyroidism.

I believe this is my case. Do you mind sharing your results if you did this type of TRT? If you did, what was the max TT level you could reach with HCG only?

Megatron,
i have read lots of your post here, learned a lot from you, looks like you have a good bag of knowledge in this area. So, I value you advice. But it sounds almost word to word what my physician told me, except for "Your TT may not be ideal for your age, but it isn't terrible" he said "Your TT is perfect for your age, everything is fine." I'm 44 year old, 6' 11'', 210 lb. I do not eat junk food, soda, sugar, all my life i was very lean and fit. With this TT level I did not have strength for gym or sport, tired all the time.Lots of sex? Sex did not feel the same and i started to loose interest in it. Get plenty of sleep? The more i sleep the sleepier i get ;-). I do yearly physical check up and all test come up good.

Your TT is not perfect for your age. Average for your age is probably a little under 600.

I can't remember, have you had a sleep study done to check for sleep apnea?

I believe only obese people suffer from sleep apnea. I do not consider myself such, so I never thought about doing a study on that.

I just looked up my numbers 3 year ago:

TT total: 564 ng/dL
TT free: 85.7 pg/mL
TSH : 1.06 uIU/mL

It may look almost perfect for my age, but i did not feel well, sleepy and tired all the time.
