Headache on Test

I just started on my protocol with Chip. My first day was last tuesday (4 days ago). Everything so far has been great. Since the time I started, people at work and my family have said positive things about my mood being better and I look more happier (may be a placebo effect) The only negative thing I can say is that I have had a severe headache since the day I started my test shot. After injecting my first day on tuesday, I had a headache, then I went to sleep for about an hour and it was compeletely gone and I was feeling much better.. Since then, the following days when I wake up in the morning, I wake up with a severe headache. To cure that I clear my sinuses (since I have allergies I do so every morning), eat breakfast with coffee and 2 asprins ... 15 minutes later the headache is gone and I will got workout after that (just started back since I got on test).

Is getting these headaches normal on the beginning stage of TRT?? Should I keep taking asprins and cofee every morining for now??

Like I said, everything else has been better. I am not feeling a 100 percent yet and I dont expect to that fast but where I was just laying in bed like a dead body I am actually getting up and doing things now last couple days.

Just checked my blood pressure and that is definately not high. It was 123/77

i have also been getting more headaches than usuall, just thought it was me, but a side effect from Human Chorionic Gonadotropin (HCG) can be headaches, if your using hcg?

not sure why all these head aches but they are def there, and instead of both coffee and aspirins,

take 1-2 exedrin migraine tablets, they have caffeine, aspirin, and ibuprofin in them,

but excessive use of aspirin and ibuprofin can cause liver issues, or so ive been told?

Are you guys taking Adex? If so how often? When I crash my estrogen and take too much anti estrogen I get basically a permanent headache until it raises again.

yeah might have crashed it a bit, so no more aromasin this week!

BINGO how much Aromatase inhibitor (AI) are you taking? I know what you mean though the headaches are out of this world if you overdose on the Aromatase inhibitor (AI). Luckily they go away in 2-3 days. Cut your Aromatase inhibitor (AI) dose in half after you give it a week.

Thats what I have been taking is 2 exedrins not asprins sorry. I started getting the headaches the day I took the test (my very first shot). I took my Human Chorionic Gonadotropin (HCG) and aromasin the next day (very first doses as well). One thing that just came across my mind now is... I was consuming a huge amount of coffee before taking test the reason is because I had no energy in my body because of low T and high E and I had to get some energy from some where to work and keep my business rolling. Since the day I took my first T injection, I also compeletely stopped drinking coffee because I thought I dont need this stuff anymore now that I am on the right track.
Could it be that the headaches I am getting are from the crash of coffee?? Cuz when I do drink that one cup in the morning with the exedrins that headache is compeletely gone 10 minutes later and rest of my day is going beautiful.
Should I just slowly tapper down from the caffeine instead of stopping cold turkey??

u can drink coffee with test. just taper it down. Test strengthens your dopaminergic functioning in your brain which could be giving you the temporary headaches. Or it could be a sympathetic or parasympathetic vasoconstriction/vasodilation response. In any event just taper it down since we don't know exactly what it is.

I don't get headaches, but my joints and muscles ache like a mofo. turned out it is 1mg anastrozole 3x/week. Seems 1mg once day after injection is enough to crash my e, but haven't done a lot of troubleshooting yet on dosage/qty. Haven't tried .5mg yet, giving myself some rest from e too low. Hell, no signs of conversion yet.

I've read anastrozole can drop e up to 80%. Something else I should try that may be less powerful?

from my understanding anastrozole should be dosed at least e3d, every 3 days to keep everything in check and balanced, but everyone is different.

I wouldn't jump to conclusions too quickly bc it takes a little time to get used to the hormones.. The first week for me was crazy; headaches, adrenaline rushes, difficulty breathing, shaky.. Etc. You might just have to ride it out for a bit..
It's really tough to start troubleshooting in the first week

TR2838 ^ makes sense. My first shot that I did, I had a severe headache that day and the following mornings. But yesterday when I woke up, I had no headache for the first time. I did my second shot yesterday morning and couple hours later I had a much milder headache than the first time but the mild headache lasted all day as I didnt take any asprin or anything for it. Than this morning when I woke up I had so mild of a headache that it was next to none. So I guess what TR2838 said above might be true. The headaches are tapering down slowly so my body must be getting used to the test. Hopefully I will wake up with none tomorow.

I know its not my estrogen because I have had the headaches since the day I took the test (about 2 hours after). DeusMalo I am starting out with anastrozole once every five days which its different doses for every one I am sure but you can try tapering down at that dose and see how it feels.

i also noticed that when i crashed my e2 i got a headache, it was not from the test but from me crashing my e2 and getting it too low, as well as having no rem wood, and waking up so far with no morning wood, it is pointing to a crashed e2!

headaches are gone and have been for me since i stoped taking my aromasin,

will only start again once i need it! might not for a wek or so though...

on another note, it might be the test because your e2 levels may have elevated or crashed? (from the lot of anastozole you had been taking!!!) test goes up, e2 goes up to try to balance ur body's hormone signals out, in most peoples cases!

and taking 1 mlg of anastozole 3x's a week is way too freaking much! eod or e3d is sufficient, dosed at .5 should be great, you can cut anostozole with vodka is what i hear? never done it but was told how to do it if you want me to post the pm i got from a different site?

Yeah JKB it's just vasdilation or dopamine stimulation that wasn't there before that is causing this and it will go away as you say it is already.

6 months in now and my headaches have virtually disappeared. I used to get them from time to time but not anymore. Can't even remember the last time I had one. Closest I've gotten recently was when I faked one to leave work early.

Thanks for the info guys. Seems like thats just all it was. I woke up this morning and no headache and my mood is more elevated. My body just needs to get adjusted to the test.

Cool - glad to hear! That's why most folks say 4-6 weeks to really start rolling.

Glad I found this, I'm at day 7 and have had continuous mild headaches for 4 days. Now I can quit worrying.

I can pretty much guarantee its from the sudden stop of caffeine. I get the same thing if i stop drinking coffee or energy drink. When u get the head ache in the morning dont take the pain pills just drink the coffe and if it goes away u know its the caffeine.
