Help had a house fire is my gear still any good?

Had a plug outlet overheat from a small space heater and all my clothes and bedroom burned. The fireman brought out what they could and I had my gear (Depot test) in sealed glass vials inside a locked briefcase. The outside is charred and it looks like at least one or two vials are not as clear as I remember . Is it dangerous to use, worthless or ok???

its impossible for smoke to have gotten inside your vial, and I doubt the heat intensity was great enough to have broken the hydrogen bonds and denatured your gear, but I could be wrong about that

If the rubber stopper didn't melt and get inside the gear I'd think they could be OK, however when some plastic/rubber burns it gives off toxins - not sure about stoppers. The gear itself though can withstand some heat just fine, check the rubber and how does it look?

They come in glass vials that have to be broken . No rubber or stopper so I wasn't worried about smoke only if he would destroy or alter them. Some of them were cloudy and yellowish so I figured why risk it and dumped them. The others are clear and seem fine. The weird thing is some of the pins are stuck with the covers yet the outside thin plastic is totally intact with no heat damage. Again I dumped those as the rubber melting might be cause for alarm.

so then there not vials ther AMP's right?

you snap them open.
there called amps.

it could be ok, but never had this happen to me so not sure.

if the gear became denatured it would appear more cloudy, so you were probably right by throwing them out.
this thread furthers my idea that you can find practically any type of personal experience involving gear on this forum lol

Update - One batch was cloudy the other Amps? ( glass that you have to break) were clear so I just started using them. Only had a few left though.
And what is with the total glass tops anyways? How are you siupposed to break them open without little pieces everywhere?????
