i am going to the grocery store. i want to know what type of london broil to get. when i search for calorie info on the net for there is a million types so wich one is the leanest that i should buy?
the leanest doesn't always taste the best. strip steak has a lot of fat, but with a marinate, grilled, and sliced perpendicular to the grain makes for tender pieces. a small amount of a tasty cut of meat on a low carb tortilla...yummm
If you buy a big cut of meat and grill it, you will be able to shave slices off it for many menu ideas..I like doing this with a basic steak or a skirt steak(I know that's a bit fatty but sooo good).
I'll be trying the white bbq sauce this summer..
