Helping out a younger guy

I understand I'm too young to consider the use of anabolic steroids for personal gains, but please instead of relaying that back to me I'd like to see if someone can answer my question.
I'm only nineteen and I took to working out last year, I enjoy it a lot but I took a good shot to he head in football six months back and I've just been cleared to workout fully again last month. I gained about 15 pounds while hurt and i ve been able to get that off. I was hoping to get into firefighting but now im afraid im too small, I know I'm too young, but If I were to consider a cycle or two to get me where I want to be, what benefits could I expect as we'll as risks, and what would be the best way to go about it? The steroid idea is new to me so other then google I'm pretty much a rookie on the topic. I'm 6'0 195 and last time I got my bf% was before my injury at I was at 14.9%. If I had to guess now I'm around 18-20%. I need strength and I'm afraid by the time I see gains It'll be too late

At your age you have so much natural testosterone flowing through your body and gear should not even be an option for a few more years. Utilize your natural production to your advantage and you will not regret the decision later in life if youo decide to pursue using AAS as you will have built a solid base which will allow you to maximize the use of AAS.

As far as utilizing your natural production it is very simple to do, its called food, food is the most anabolic compound you will ever use if its done right. Diet will be your winning tool. It will increase your strength tenfold and you can gain quality mass at an alarming rate at your age. Your best option would be to use whatever money you would be willing to use on gear and hire someone like 3J to hand tailor a diet to your needs and goals. It would be the best thing you ever invest in at this point. Do not underestimate the powers of a young growing body.

If you've only been lifting for a year before your injury then you didn't have that much miscellaneous to begin with. It's going to be a bitch but you need to get an extreme clean bulk. As far cycles a first cycle would be test only at 500mg a week split into 2 shots. Then wait 2 weeks after last shot and start pct look up the dosage and compounds. As far as sides if you don't do research you'll probably get gyno. Definitely acne and when your on you'll be horny as fuck but your sex life after will drop and will never come back to 100% where it was it'll come back and you'll be able to fuck but just not like. 19 or 20 year old can. I took my first cycle at 19 and this is what I experienced. Biggest thing since your going to do it is do research and once you have a plan follow it do not change mid way

Welcome.

I'm not lecturing you, I'm answering your question about benefits and side effects.

Benefits at your age are temporary at best. If your nutritional plan is optimum, you will make decent gains and if your workout routine is proper it will show very well. You'll gain both strength and muscle mass as well as some fat. But then you'll probably lose it all just as fast.

Side effects are there to stay. Instead of listing all of them, I will just tell you what happened to me when I cycled for the first time 17 years ago. I was uneducated and unfamiliar with growth potential. A few people told me about side effects and I ignored them. 2 years after my cycle (that's right, side effects aren't always "same day service") I developed retarded ejaculation, which eventually led to zero ejaculation. A short while later I developed erectile dysfunction. Although I am 6ft tall, I am currently the shortest one in my family. I probably should have been 6'4. So all in all, I have to administer 4 injections weekly for the rest of my life, I have to take a pill for erections and I have to take a pill for ejaculating. During the diagnoses phase, suicidal thoughts were very near and became addicted (briefly) to antidepressants.

Sound harsh? It is. Everytime I take that expensive pill so that I can shoot my load, I wish I never did that cycle.

Kazmir already answered the gaining size part of your question. In regards to you becoming a firefighter, there is no such thing as too small (to a realistic point of course). Now your particular city may have height / weight ratio requirements but not all cities have that. If you really want to become one then your city should be a minor limitation, many others out there if you're willing to follow through on your goals / dreams and move. We have officers the size of twigs, and I've seen firefighters to match. And when I say twigs I'm talking approx 5'7, 120 lbs at best. Just had an officer have to deploy his taser because he wasn't able to physically control a small 16 year old female. If you want it you can go and get it, especially at your size.

edit: Just realize the comment about physically being able to control a subject would lead one to think steroids is the answer. To clarify the officer doesn't work out, and lives an overall sedentary (sp?) lifestyle. Someone such as yourself would have had a much easier time, outside of extreme active resistance, which he wasn't receiving from the subject. Point is at your size and lifestyle many departments both fire and police would scoop you up, assuming your background is in order as well, nothing to worry about.

Were you on it continuousy when you started? I was thinking a 12 week cycle in two months or so once I can get back to where I was and then attempt to maintain most of the gains from that cycle, assuming you get considerable gains from a three month cycle, and from there I stay off of them. Thanks for the advice

Yea I hear what your saying, I knew a couple guys that did a cycle in grade 11 and then lost a good portion of what they gained but still had gains when it was all said and done, but yes I get what your saying it is much appreciated, thank you

Thanks, I'm glad I posted in here, I wasn't thinking of it as a necessity, just a way to get where I think I would be if I could work out the past six months. I was unsure if one cycle would have huge negative effects or not but now I'm pretty sure of where I'm at. Thanks to all of ya who replied
