herniated disk/ pinched nerve

just had conductive nerve exam done, and have mri scheduled for monday, the neurologist said it looks to be c7 disc, i have lost about 40% of strength in my right arm, it is affecting tricep only. anyone experience anything like this? could it cause muscle atrophy? doctor said it looked that way. am 35 by the way. any info on the sbject would be great. thanx will be starting a cycle in week or so, hoping it may give me strength back

I have soemthing similar except mine effects my traps, my entire back and both arms. I have had epidurals and 6 different rounds of PT, I am now getting steroidal injections into the muscles. Find a good doctor and get some treatment. Mine hurts all the time but I still lift and run everyday.

is good to hear blondie, did the nerve issue cause loss of strength?i am hoping to get on track with upcoming cycle, get stregnth back. am running deca also, it releives my shoulder joint, am curious if it will relieve some of this problem (wishful thinking).. wjat u think? is wise to just dull the pain with meds and go to therapy, and still lift like hell? lol

Thats what I did, my doc told me to stop lifting but, I felt so depressed when I would stop. And I think that feeling depressed made the pain worse. Of course, I had a huge loss of strength, but what was important to me was just getting in and lifting, the amount didnt matter, Im no powerlifter.

I still have days where I am in so much pain that I dont want to get out of bed, but I just suck it up and roll out.

Mine was from a near fatal car accident. How did you hurt yours?
Deca should help with joint pain, but you may also get some sides like hair loss and "deca-dick".

i run test with deca, no deca dick. finastride for hair.lol. not sure how i injured it. lifting real heavy maybe popped something/

I had two herniated discs in my lower back with sciatica, and my chiropractor put me on laser therapy with traditional back adjustments. In three months time, I was completely healed, and havent had pain like that in 4 years.
