Hey folks, in need of some training help!

Hey guys, going to try to condense a lot of information here so you guys get the proper understanding of my situation.

I am 21, turning 22 in 2 weeks. About 4 years ago I was obese, 275 pounds. I lost the weight the unhealthy way (starvation basically) and got down to 180ish. Naturally, I kept some of my love handles and a patch of fat on my lower stomach. Until about 15 months ago, I stayed around 180-190 without ever going to the gym.

15 months ago I started working out hard, and haven't skipped a week since. I run everyday, lift 4-5 days a week, etc. I got into great shape this past summer with the help of 10 weeks of Hydroxy Hardcore, however still always had the stomach flab (though I did reduce it) and small love handles which I always said I would handle later.

Around October 2008, I started binge drinking and eating bad in celebration of my LSAT score. I still lifted everyday, but did no cardio. Love handles are back in full effect, as is the stomach flab.

I am looking for a good diet/caloric intake advice, AND MORE IMPORTANTLY A NEW TRAINING REGIMEN to get rid of the flab and love handles for good, not the half/half job I did this summer. Again, I am not trying to lose weight at all, but rather looking to cut body fat and achieve a harder look.

My current routine is very basic:
Monday: Chest
Tuesday: Shoulders
Wednesday: Bicep Tricep
Friday: Back

I have not done much cardio as of late, but I plan to revert back to my 4-5 days of cardio a week. I usually do intervals of:

:45 seconds 4.0 MPH walk
:45 seconds 6.5 MPH jog
:45 seconds 10.5 MPH run.

Do this for about 15-20 minutes.

In closing, as a first timer, I want to thank you all in advance for any help you are able to provide.

I have naturally very big legs. Maybe its from my old football days from when I was fat, but my legs are pretty big. I always feel like if I was to seriously train legs, my body would look weird/disproportional.

Ok, I can understand your thinking.

But I would def. train legs If I were you. Squats help your back, core, forearms, legs. They do a lot. You gotta have a strong base for the rest of your body to be on. Just my opinion.

If I were you and only going to train 4 days a week I wouldnt give arms their own day.

mine would be like this:

Day 1- Chest/tri
Day 2- Legs/abs
Day 3- Rest
Day 4- Back/Bi
Day 5- Rest
Day 6- Shoulders
Day 7- Rest

You can obviously switch it up, if you recover fast you dont have to rest every other day. If you feel great throw an arm day in there.

Hope that helps a little.

good basis IMO you could addjust to your personnal preferences after a while.

Youngfella is a good one.

you might wanna check out the diet forum. training is only 20% to contribute to keeping that fat off. man you were 275 and lost 100 pounds by starving yourself? Definitely not healthy. Whats your height? Ever been checked for thyroid problems?
