Hey Guys, I've been using "Ancient Strength" as my Creatine. Tell me what you think?

So I have been using Ancient Strength as my Pre-work out source of creatine for about a week now and I love it. Price is pretty cheap and I get a lot more energy a lot faster with this brand.

My question is this... I have heard of Creatine Monohydrate and Creatine Phosphate but does anyone know what Creatine Pyruvate is or heard of it? Its something I have not heard much about and now that I am using this product I am interested in what this is.

Thanks for your help guys.

Creatine pyruvate is an organic acid that is attatched to the creatine to provide better absorption and utilization. I have seen at least 2 studies that back it up!

From a 2008 study published in the Journal of the International Society of Sports Nutrition, Creatine Pyruvate was shown to increase mean power and force output, as well as enhancing aerobic metabolism.

So, Creatine Pyruvate was shown in this study to make the subjects stronger (force)
more powerful (force x speed), and even may have increased endurance by the increased oxygen uptake.

Of all the creatines (and of course the placebo) used in the study, ONLY creatine pyruvate demonstrated this potential endurance enhancing effect.

The study literature further stated that long term creatine supplementation increased the effect of resistance training on muscle volume, in addition to the strength and power benefits mentioned above.

Iv ONLY been hearing good things about Ancient Strength, and am looking to use some soon. :-)

never used Creatine Pyruvate before, sounds like a great thing!

I think you will be happy with the results. Creatine is one of the most underrated supplements on he market today. I think mostly do to the fact that everyone sells it and its been saturated into every site, mag, book and then some.

So these days people think Meh its just creatine so what!!

Like it or not creatine works and a good creatine works even better. Ancient strength is one of the best pre work out creatine products you can get. The combo of fast, medium, and slow creatines gives you what you need right away and also sustained over time throughout the workout. A bottle of ancient strength combined with reg creatine mono used on off days is perfect. Its also cheap too.

Thank you for all of the responses! I've used many different brands/types of creatine but this is the first time I'm getting great results using it. I think the combo of the different types of creatine is making the difference. Strength is going up nicely on a lot of my lifts already. I get a lot of energy and the pumps are great!

I definitely recommend this stuff over the regular creatine.

Anyone else using this stuff? Would like to compare results.

Thanks for the info

Was looking at your "Anabolic Enhancement Stack". I'm on a 12 week Test E at 500/wk with a 50mg/ED DBol kick start. This creatine stack sounds interesting, but I gotta think that with Test E and DBol and all this creatine, I'd blow up like a blimp with water weight?
