Hey guys , so my last cycle in October of last year I was running Tren at 400mg and test at 700mg ... I previously never checked my blood pressure before and one day while at my girls she has a blood pressure cuff . So I checked my blood pressure . it was something like 180 over 90 ... Insane high .. anyways once I stopped my run it went down to 150 over 90 or 80 . Right now im basiacly running the same cycle ... I am going to go check my blood pressure within the next day or two ... I always keep my sodium down , harldy ever add salt to my food . What im wondering is have u guys ever had to use blood pressure medications and what kind of sides and things are involved if I need them ... and also yes I do have arimidex for estrogen ... right now im in week 2 of my cycle ... about to start taking it at maybe .25 eod ... should I wait a few weeks and see if that drops my blood pressure if its high before I go for blood pressure meds ?

You should buy a blood pressure monitor to watch your BP at home. You should check it several times a week at a minimum when on cycle. I would recommend a couple of times a day for you given your history.

High E2 can increase blood pressure so make sure you are monitoring your E2 via blood work.

Many guys do have to use blood pressure medications to manager their BP -- especially with compounds like Tren or high dosages. You may need to bring your dosages down or end your cycle altogether. High BP is a serious problem. It isn't worth blowing out a kidney.

Make sure you are drinking a lot of water too.

thanks a lot Megatron , uve helped me in the past with this issue on the last cycle ! Im going to start monitoring it right away ... If its high again I guess im going to see if I can get some blood pressure medication from the doctors .... do u guys have experience with the meds ... like if they work well and what kind of sides come along with them if any ?

Some of those machines give bullshit readings bro
U should possibly hit a local pharmacy and ask when the last time it has been calibratedto make sure and check every few days
BP that high would cause some bad headaches and your heart rate to increase as well

thanks for the info Matt ! has anyone ever run blood pressure meds though .... do they work and what kind of stuff is associated with taking them ... are there sides?

Here you go. Lisinopril is a commonly used BP med. It is an ACE inhibitor. Here are the common side effects.

You just need to hop on Google. There is a ton if info out there on the various types of BP meds, how effective they are and what their side effects are. Just put in a little effort to do some homework. Start with, "Types of blood pressure medications."

Personally -- I would feel better if you lowered your dosages or got off Tren rather than take a BP med. But that is your choice to make. I think putting yourself into Hypertensive Crisis situations is not a good idea.

That's a big part of your problem (bolded) right there. An AI should be run from day 1, and I wonder if 0.25mg will be enough given your already high E2 sides.

As testosterone goes up, estradiol goes up. As estradiol goes up, water retention follows suit. More water in your circulatory system = increased blood pressure. You may not even need to worry about bp meds if this is your problem. Get a blood test in two weeks to verify.

My .02c :)

Like Megatron said, get your own blood pressure cuff. I got the electronic wrist cuff from walgreens for like $40 and it works pretty good. Don't use the machines at the pharmacies, they're only good for arms under 13 - 14" which most of us here are well over!
