high calorie shakes

i take a 1000 calorie shake in the morning first thing and then about 1/2 to 3/4 of one in the afternooe/evening while on bulking cycle. this helps me get the reqd # of calories in my diet as i cant eat that damn much food! i also take amino acids and drink whey shakes and take vitamins.
my main question is, are the calorie shakes and vitamins enough of the good stuff i need to be putting in my body or should i try to eat more veggies.
pretty much all my carbs come from the shakes except for some wheat bread i eat with turkey or subway sandwiches. so i think im good there. plenty of protein in diet. main question is any other healthy stuff i need?
 
what kind of carbs do you use in shakes? High GI ones? Even for bulking I just use post workout high GI carbs. Otherwise i will get unwanted fat.
 
the 1000 cal shakes have 125g carbs, plus the bread i eat and the protein bars.
the reason i drink the gainer is to get enough cals, i dont really count my carbs, it works for me im actually gaining weight and losing a little fat. the gainer is packed with vitamins also, just wondering if i need to eat more whole food veggies, right now i dont eat any, just what im gettin from shakes and pills.
