high RBC high blood pressure woes

Your cpap will store around 30 sessions worth of data, so you should be able to poke around. There's a lot of useful info on a cpap. Add in a pulse ox and a zeo headband and it's basically turning the bedroom into a sleep lab.

Fyi, I was using the big cuff. I notice if I put it on tight the readings are high, a little loose the readings are lower. They really wrap it tight. My arm wasn't straight out it was about 45 degrees from verticle.

I found someone to phleb me at home. I'll take a pint tomorrow n get new labs then I'll do platelets next wednesdar. Then I can start back on trt. Right now I don't feel bad. 8 days since 50mg, then 5 before that was 100mg. So I'm prob really low.

Yeah, I've been learning about all the doodads, and my doctor is actually really interested as we were just casually discussing the use of the CPAP. Zeo is a bit overboard for me, but I totally agree that it's like a mini sleep lab with that setup haha.

Try straightening your arm next time. Some folks know what you're doing, some don't - it would have bought you that needed sub 100 diastolic for sure. :(

I've been feeling a lot better since I got my new mask. I'm still not used to the mask but the improvement is there. The BP meds are getting rid of the adema. If I get my crit down n back on test n hcg I'll prob be doing pretty good. I'm down 25 lbs from a few months ago. So things are kinda headed in the right direction.

Good to hear man.

Finally got in to donate blood. Dispute being around 140/90 at the hospital I was 170/100. Platelets were 210 so I was only able to do a single platelet donation. Crit was 53.1. Total time was 80mins.

During the donation I was thinking about how much test I should inject when I get home lol. But I'll prob just do .25ml and run a cbc tomorrow just to confirm my crit is down.

Bought a consult with a cpap specialist online "thelankylefty" he reviewed my data and made a few suggestions. Said I stabilize at 13 so to increase my pressures, and use a mouthguard.

I wouldn't do a CBC so soon... even with whole blood it takes 24 hours to reestablish plasma volume and see the effect on HCT. With apheresis, most of the reduction in HCT comes from hemolysis - damaged red blood cells that will be filtered and eliminated over time.

I'd give it a week or two before retesting.

Thanks for the feedback Mptz. I wont bother then. Ill check it in a few weeks or so when i donate platelets again.

Another update. In April I ran a thyroid screen, it mostly came back good, except for my Reverse T3, which was high 27, range 0-25. Despite nothing really working for the fatigue I kept plowing though with test and hcg and an AI. Nothing really helped. I ran a saliva cortisol panel, and my cortisol was way down so I went on 250mg Adrenal Cortex Extract. Ran that for a while - still had the fatigue. Started looking more at the Reverse T3 and ran Natural Desiccated Thyroid for a month, which helped immediately with the brain fog and memory issues. Fatigue was still bad though. I ordered some T3 from RUI, and started running it last week. Started at 5mcg at 6am, 12pm, 6pm and bedtime. now im up to 10mcg morning, noon, supper. Definitely feeling better. Able to push myself again. Still got a few months of T3 only to clear the Reverse T3. Hopefully this is another step in the right direction. Im back on test, in 8 days I will donate platelets again. I know its a little bit too frequent but im running my test 50mg every other day subq, mostly for convenience and I got a crap load of syringes to burn up. Hcg 200IU every 3 days. Cialis 3mg every other day. Lisinoprl 20mg HCTZ 25.
