I have a home gym, and providing I have the equipment I need for the specific training of the day, I prefer to train at home rather than in the gym. It saves gas, money and time. Everything is real primitive, I welded the weights and other equipment myself from industrial surplus material and shipwrecks, but the material is high quality stainless steel and inox. I find a low-budget basement more motivational than a fancy gym.
I find the hot sluts more motivating at the gym than a low-budget basement. But that's just me, I like them whores.

home gyms are puke, why would u spent that kind of money when a gym membership is about 20.00 a month.. I could never workout at home just because Its so hard to lift by myself. guess im just the type of guy that I love it when people watch me lift! haha

20/mo gyms are really hard to find+few people live within a convenient distance of a gym (less than 10mins)= A good thing that some people just can't afford to take advantage of

I personally just keep a straight bar and some dumbells handy where ever I go. Its enough that I only need to go to the gym 2x a week instead of 4. Then again we have a company gym most places so I don't have to worry about making sure I get my money's worth.

I found a pair of Bowflex 5-90 dumbells, a 87lb x-vest, and resistance bands and pullup bar to do the trick...this was always our mobile training kit...stationary I would add a freemotion dual cable cross
