Homeless bodybuilder****************

saw this on facebook. Didn't watch the whole thing though. Does it mention how he affords his diet and (assuming) gear?

I question the legitimacy of this. He clearly can afford to eat well and likely works out every day with the resistance bands/bw exercises, but most homeless I see are really sick and have a distended gut from malnutrition.

If true, mad respect for taking care of his body - but that kind of drive should easily land him a job, and a home.

He says he is going on stage and he is trying to get rid of water retention, so for a week he was eating veggies lol
Has anyone seen the creatine he is using ? :)

I had a link on Facebook with translation , just couldn't find the damn thing on youtube

I saw this last week too, very interesting... to me, no offence It shows how shallow he is. that he would put that much effort into the body, and not his life... no way he cant work at a coffee shop or mcdonalds with that sort of drive. most homeless seem to have mental illness and/or drug issues... not to say he doesn't but it looks like hes aware enough to get a job to me..

I noticed a tasty looking protein shake next to him, and protein aint cheap

I saw this on another board - the guy is HIV positive & a former drug addict.

I wouldn't be surprised if he's been doing "favours" for a few people in order to get access to food, gear & supplements. Many homeless have to do this in order to survive - you'd have to be pretty naïve to believe he got all that by simply posing on the streets :)

JP pretty much summed up my thoughts on this - you can find a way to get gear & workout, but not to find a job and put a roof over your head? Messed up priorities.

Ripped , can an HIV positive maintain mass?
I thought they lose lots of weight/muscle after getting the damn virus

Yes - with steroids.

Many studies show that steroids are used by the medical community to help those with diseases like HIV that cause muscle wasting.

I can't see the video because it's private. However I disagree with those who think his priorities are messed up. I was homeless for 5 months recently by choice for many sensible reasons that actually put health above the naturally sedentary lifestyle that comes with having a place. I won't go too much into my personal choice, but I'm curious about why someone choosing fitness as a lifestyle with the money they have shows poor character as opposed to using what you have to get something you technically do not need - a roof over your head. I can't really comment on the video since I didn't see it, and clearly am not going in depth about my own choice. But imo logic would dictate that choosing a health oriented lifestyle or to pursue your passion (bodybuilding or whatever it may be) over throwing away money on rent each month to be pretty admirable...:freak:
