how do i get TRT prescribed by a doctor at 22 years old

i'm 22 and i've been using gear since i was 18. 6 months ago after my 7th cycle i think it was, i tried a long PCT an was off for like 4 months. i was not pleased with my results at all. my test came back in the low 500s. that is garbage for a 22 year old. a 22 year old should be at at least around 700.

so i just put myself on TRT. i figured if im at 503 ng/dl now, its only going down from here. im doing 250mg a week. but i want real TRT from a real doctor, but i dont wanna go thru the whole procedure of him trying to treat me.

i want to go to a doctor and be honest with him, and tell him look i've been abusing steroids since i was 18 and i've tried all the meds you're gonna prescribe me and i never seemed to bounce back.

are there doctors that will just believe me, and agree with me that i am fucked? and just prescribe me some test and call it a day?

my friend went to a urologist who put him on clomid for fucking like 6 months. i dont wanna have a doctor try to make me bounce back naturally, and then fail, and then give me some fuckin gel to rub on my ballsack i want a script for test. how do i get one?

Actually, being in the low 500's for TT is about where a 22 year old should be. And as you can see from the graph, TT levels are not maxed out yet at age 22 for most men. I am afraid you may have had misguided expectations about what your TT levels should have been at.

maybe so. but i see you posting that graph all the time and you know, every study shows something different. theres graphs out there that show that a 22 year old should be at 700, some say we should be at 900, etc etc etc. all i know is i was not satisfied with 500. i know how i feel when my levels are at 900, and i remember how i felt when i was at 500. i felt "on the face" as we say in hebrew :) ... its slang for horrible.

on a side note, my 62 year old dad is at 490 he just got tested last week when i told him to look into TRT. so i dont think it'd make much sense for me to be only around 10 points higher than my 62 year old father...

Gonna be a tough sell man.

A 22 year old without a diagnosable endocrine disorder telling a doctor which medications he does and doesn't want, and admitting to a a history of steroid use...probably not going to go over so well with any doctor.

yup. guess i'l just gonna have to wait a few years until i'm completely fucked up. and im talking like sub-300 levels

Look at the graph on the left. Your father is around the level he should be at.

I think you are forgetting to take the right side of the graph into account and look at Free T. The thyroid typically slows down as one ages which affects SHBG ----> Free T.

How?

Carefully place your yam sack in the door frame of an almost closed door. Quickly lean back and slam the door on your bean bag as many times as you can before you pass out. Then, when you wake up - smack em a couple times with a ball peen hammer.

Get a test, and repeat if necessary.

Only partially serious... :wiggle:

Sorry man, you're CHOOSING to be on TRT over a number. I think you're an alright dude, but this is what the reality is; you won't get TRT from a doctor unless you pay out the ass for it.

Hopefully other young guys can learn from your mistakes. I know you do jump in on those kinds of threads, which is why you DO have some of my respect - but I do have to play Devil's Advocate here.

hit the nail on the head.

I don't recommend this but if you really want it so bad just get on an oral cycle without test. Then when your shut down go get your blood tested at a regional clinic. Get a copy of those results and go find a doctor that is willing to script you out. They are not going to set you up with 20ml jugs of 200mg watson to use at 250mg per week to take home. But at least it will get your foot in the door of trt and get you dialed in with estradoil. Walk in shake the doctors hand like a grown man and whatever you do don't bring up your ludicrous steroid debauchery.

Horrible advise hopefully your dad isn't as ignorant as you are.

Until they look at LH and FSH. Granted, there are docs that don't, but those are also the ones that really shouldn't be treating low T in the first place. There really isn't an easy way to trick the system without abusing an idiot's inattentiveness. :o

Its a better plan than going in there and saying I abuse steroids give me some more please.

What if he did a test prop cycle then walked in there 2 or 3 weeks after last pin and tested ?

What do you think about his dad and trt ?

No man...
It's not right...
A lot of docs will check LH, FSH...
Once they see suppressed flags will go up as to why????
As well, they will very likely have him waiting a few months before a new blood test is done. Lot of time living with low TT he will be.

Wow 6 cycles by 22 years old....
The route u are going u will wind up on TRT in no time....
U should seriously sit down and think about what you are doing.... U are going to regret it.

It depends on the doctor I just went to my primary care doctor told him I felt like shit ran full bloodwork my tt came at 500 he said 500 it's not low and I replied for a 24 year old it is I want to be at the top range for my age, he agreed prescribed me 200mg a week and I'm on my 4th month, for me it was that easy, I've never done any cycles btw.

Honestly, I have a very hard time answering this as I do have some personal bias. When I was diagnosed, I had a TT of 120ng/dL and had been told for years there was nothing wrong with me. I've been at 400ng/dL while starting TRT, and still felt like shit.

The problem is that I don't know what my natural testosterone production was as a 20-something, so I don't have a reference to draw upon. I know I felt good before I got hurt, and killed my testes by being on painkillers for two years, but no clue what the numbers were.

If e92 says he felt like shit at 500ng/dl, I have to believe him. Although, I do want to state that there's ALWAYS a HUGE difference in how we feel on cycle versus off. This is true for being on TRT too; I love the feeling of having 4000ng/dl worth of testosterone coursing through my veins, but it's just not feasible to stay there indefinitely.

I would PCT, come off the SERMs, and see where things stand. I don't encourage self treatment, but I also know folks will do what they have to. His dad actually has pretty good test levels to be honest, but again - it's about how you FEEL at those levels.

Hope that answers your question. :)

You got a doctor that's taking risks with his license. Medical boards review stuff like that; I'm imagining he's working with a symptom like depression to get around the fact you're NOT hypogonadal?

Sorry for the crazy long edit, stupid me fat fingered the quick reply button when scrolling down. D'oh!

I'm really surprised to be honest. Wellness clinic, or actual general practice/endo/urologist?

It's a general practice clinic, I was surprised too but when I read some papers from.things that I have been treated there i read that according to them I have hypogonadism.

E92

Keep in mind natty T has diurnal swings...
I'm assuming you went first thing in morning for those labs??
If so, endogenous T will gradually decrease throughout the day. Of course the dose of TRT u are using will provide more uuumph...
It's not a steady level of T u would naturally have on a tuned in protocol with frequent BUT REGULAR injections.

Damn. That's incredibly rare given your age and TT value. Is insurance covering the cost too? Sorry to keep up with the 20Q, I'm just very fascinated as this is relatively unheard of outside cash shops.

that is an incredibly moronic idea you just shared. you do know that your FSH and LH production shut down when ur test gets shut down right? so theyll see that im on steroids. if i have low test, with fsh and lh in range, then thats another story.

as for my dad, i told him to get his test checked BEFORE i knew those were his numbers. dont call me ignorant. you have no idea who i am.

What if he did a test prop cycle then walked in there 2 or 3 weeks after last pin and tested ?
thats a better idea than your previous, but the doctors will still give me a blood test on the spot, then give me another one from anywhere between 4-8 weeks later. then if its still low they will look at other alternatives to treat me. getting a doctor to prescribe you test is hard, and takes a long time. im not trying to be depressed for 2-3 months until a doctor writes me a script.

i knew the route i was going in, i sat down and thought about it. thats why i tried coming off in the first place. when i recovered to 504ng/dl having blood drawn first thing in the morning, i didnt like how i felt and i did not like those numbers. but hey, for the past 2 and a half years i knew nothing but test levels of over 1200 so i guess maybe i wasnt feeling like shit. maybe i was just feeling how everyone else was feeling. either way i didnt like it. even doctors who give TRT aim to get their patents in the 700ng/dl zone.

i have a big ego. i like being the best. i NEED to have a nicer and better EVERYTHING than everyone else. i always strive for greatness.
with that being said 500ng/dl, especially in the morning, is certainly not normal for a 22 year old. i dont give a fuck what graphs you've seen. i could not stand knowing that i am below average. and i know for a fact that 90% of the members on this board have more or less the same personality complex as me when it comes to feeling the need to be the best, otherwise we wouldnt fucking be on this website in the first place.
