how do you bench

Doesnt matter where my elbows go even if its a medium grip. If my grip is not wide enough my pecs dont get a workout. Im serious about my tris. They take over every chance they get.

Have you tried pre-exhausting your chest by doing flyes first, then bench?

I find myself switching every few months or so. I'll do elbows flared out for a few months then I'll change up my routine and then do elbows in.

I let the elbows go wherever is natural, which is somewhat inside. I bench a little narrower nowdays because of my shoulders, and a little under the nipples - up to 2-3" or so.

im adjusting my technique at the moment...is it just me or is it difficult to arch your back, plant your shoulders and keep em squeezed together ,keep the abs tight and your elbows in at your side all at the same time?.....seems i can only generally get 2 out 4 and remember to breath....guess it will come with time and practice.

I bench shoulder-width and elbow tucked in now. back then, judging from my previous vids, yuo'd see my shoulders getting totally fucked. honestly, my front delts are over developed. the tucking in of shoulders/arching of back is a matter of getting used too. i'm still weak in benching..so keep doing it i tell myself

i useed to go out at 90 degrees, my front delt was way overdeveloped to
my bench also hit a plateu and just wouldnt go up.My pl coach (currently trains world record holder/australian record holder). Is helping me correct my technique..its taking some getting used to.Its just one of those things i guess itll take time.there just a lot that goes into a good rep.A lot of people say benching is easy. There generally the ones not benching right.

guys all of these techniques should be used. vary your training to allow the most development in strength and size.

Inersesting you go narrower because of your shoulders. I find narrower grip puts more strain on mine. Then a gain my arms are about 4 feet long.

My bench changes somtimes, basically ..pause bench\ board presses\ and straight sets of 3-10. Oh...must be that basic pullinbig routine that works wonders :-)
