How long after adjusting dose can you get labs?

Lowered your TRT dose? FYI: Free test will ALWAYS be high for TRT patients. We decrease our SHBG by the very act of injecting testosterone. Adding an AI to the mix drives it down even further.
Or is this for a different (non-TRT related) reason? If it's from cycling, might want to create a thread in the AAS section.

My free test was 343 and e2 was at 43, it's for TRT, my dr said lower dose from 200mg per week to 140mg my total was 1080.. he said nothing about an AI
He said lowering the test would lower both estradiol and free test
But it's been a couple weeks and I wanted to go back and get labs done to see where I am at, I didn't want it to be a waste and go to soon

Geez, another one of those that is trying to go by one quantifiable value, ignoring the reasons behind such a value.
Here is the problem; which your doc may or may not know, is that SHBG is inherently going to be low, which is going to make things a challenge regardless of dose. Until he drives you down to the lower ranges of course.
Two weeks is what I'd guess, although most prefer four to be safe. In all honesty, I'd dig up some studies explaining how free test works, and let him see that he's using a piss poor metric without cause.
