How long are you in the gym for?

like a fuckin boss

i'm not advanced enough to use as many of the conjugate method's accessory and supplemental components that would extend my workout times beyond 2hrs. so mine typically last 60-90mins 4x wk, with cardio on off days and eventually sled work.

Wow. I assume many of these time spans mentioned include cardio. I'd run out of ideas for resistance training.

I get a lift in for about an hour and a half to 2 hours 5 days a week. Every once in awhile I will do 3 hours. When I am all juiced up I don't ever want to leave and have to remember to cut myself off so I don't over do it.

I'm old and slow. I can spend over 2 hours doing my routine. If I'm lifting heavy I can take 5 minutes between sets. My first big three, three sets each with stretch and warm-ups can take nearly an hour, depending on how the day is going.

Yeah that's what I'm thinking. I pace myself sometimes. But 2 to 3 hours of rigorous training? I just don't think so. Certainly not how new fibers develop.

45 min to an hour and half, I wish I would of known that this is the perfect timing from when I started. 4 years ago, when I first got a gym membership I used to go for 3 and a half hours doing fully body workouts everyday doing chest, arms, legs, shoulders, back AND cardio every day...

usually about 2.5+ hours this includes everything from stretching and mobility work to my warm ups, work sets, and accessory work.

1 hour is my sweet spot. I don't do cardio warm up. I jump into my movements and use very light weight ramped up to my work sets on each muscle group trained that day. I do high intensity low rep movements first for strength. My rest sets can be up to 3-4 minutes for these. I move to higher rep volume type lifting after. There are more sets and reps but the weight is lighter and I rest about 1 minute between sets. Sometimes a little less.
