How long will it take me to gain back?

So basically I lifted for about 3 months solid and gained 16-20 pounds while significantly increasing the amount of weight I could push. Then I stopped, regretfully, for about 4-5 months and am now back at it again. I lost that 16-20 pounds and am having a hard time pushing my base weight that I started with.

I am going to start over again but my question is, will I gain what I lost any faster? or will it take the same amount of time as it originally did?

So you saying you gained a quick 20lbs in 3 months, and your wondering if you can get it back in 3 months now that youve stopped for a while.

I'm just wondering how long it would take my body to "adjust" back to the lifting and supplements. Does your body "remember" so to speak? or is it like starting fresh?

well, considering that you didn't really work out for that long in the first place, I'd say you'd be starting from scratch pretty much.

I beleive there is muscle memory. Start lifting again your body will remeber were it left off it will probably take a while though hit it hard and heavy!!!!!!!!

Dont sweat it bro it doesn't take long to get it back. You get can your gains of 20lbs back in 3 months naturally. Throw some test in and you will get there much much faster. A couple of yrs. ago I was on and off for like 6 yrs. I would either party for a while then lift for a while. Now a days I keep the partying to like once or twice a month. At any rate my gains would come back in a month assuming my diet was in check. Go for a low vloume high protein diet 2 gr. pro per lb of 1lb body weight and you will be back in the groove in a month or so. Good Luck.

your telling a guy that has only had 3 months of lifting experience (or at least at one time) and has been off for 4 months now to throw in roids? Good way to fuck someone up and really screw up their training. Go natrual for a few years, hit it hard, then when you hit a stopping point, then think about it.
