how many weeks out should i start dieting?

it would be easier to tell if you did real front and rear relaxed poses in good light, showing your legs.

Well if the one showing your whole body with your legs exposed is current, if I were you I'd start 16 weeks out and see how things are changing, if too rapidly you can always modify.

You didn't include a rear relaxed pose (actually didn't include a front relaxed either) of your whole body so it's still hard to say where your body fat is because people carry it differently.

Looking huge bro, if you cut a bit then dry out you are going to be shredded. You look pretty low BF already. Do you normally stay that lean?

i'v followed your threads BigKentucky! And i wish you luck to your show but i was courious how much cardio you do for precontest?

6 days a week on the treadmill.

At a bodyweight of 287 lbs at a 15* incline @ 3.6 mph will yield 640 calories burnt per 30 minutes bro.

Dude...you're lean already...it will NOT take you much to get dialed in. I don't have the genetics to stay lean like you. I always hover around 280-290 and somtimes up to 310-320 lbs or so.

You're already cut my man. Tons of protein to maintain muscle...lots of good clean complex carbs to keep said muscles nice and full looking. You'll be a fucking beast on stage my man. Absolute beast.

:D

My thoughts on pre show cardio are this...

(and this isn't for everyone so my flame suit is on)

...the more cardio you do the more you can eat. I would rather do 1 hour of cardio everyday (which I rather enjoy) and be able to eat a few more carbs assigned by my coach/dietician. I know I'll get ribbed for it...but that 1 cup of dry oats right before bed goes a lifetime in keeping the carb gremlin out of your ear at 3am when you wake up.

Just my $.02.

And listen to Big Kentucky, he obviously knows his shit

Well thanks bro...I'm seasoned though and do what is best for ME. It is such a self centered sport LOL. By that I mean what I do for my prep may not even be close to what you would do.

:yesway:

yeah i was thinking the same thing!I can eat more carbs to keep my muscles fuller and doing more cardio. And for the carbs before bed i try always to eliminate it.My bedtime meal is greens, cauliflower some tomatoes maybe, chicken breast and 1 tb spoon of olive oil
