How Much Anavar...

How Much Anavar should I run for my maiden voyage? I'm on testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) of 400 mg, test e and have never run Anavar, so I'm not sure how much to order or how long to run it? Currently 48 yrs, 6ft, 205lbs and around 12% bf if that helps.

Last time i ran var (also the first time) I started at 50mg ED and moved up gradually til i found the desired effects. I found 80mg was the sweet spot for me, but everybody's different.

Did you give it any time at 50mg or immediately start bumping up to 80? I'm just looking for a little more tone & hardness. My objective is to look good, not neccessarily get huge. I would be a happy guy at 210-215 & 10% bf. I guess that translates to about 10-12 lbs of muscle?

I bumped to 60 after 10 days, then straight to 80 about 2 weeks later. Don't expect much weight gain. Ran it 12 wks total. It was like a weak tren for me,good for body recomp. Not much on the scale, but i dropped fat and gained lbm. I was also on test and eq, and following a cut diet. Definitely felt strength gains, hardness, and vascularity (which i attributed to the eq).

I am on testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) as well and am on 50mg of Anavar (var). Will this create an adverse reading when I get my levels tested again in July?

400mg/wk for testosterone replacement therapy (TRT)? You are on cycle, not trt. Its a modest dose, but I think you should be aware of this fact.

by adverse, what do you mean? It will raise your test levels significantluy above what just the testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) does.

Personally, I think, in your case, that VAR is a waste of time. VAR is usually used to get kick-started on a cycle since injectible cyp and enan take a few weeks to stabalize in your blood-stream. Since you are on testosterone replacement therapy (TRT), you are already there and don't need kick start. Just up your dose of test a little. OR, even better, add another compound like Winstrol or Equipoise. I did the same thing you are doing by adding VAR to testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) dose - it was a waste. got a lot more out of adding 400mg/week of eq of 50mg/day winnie. just my experience.

Yes I am aware of that fact. They had me bump it because I'm not getting any results. Why I'm not, is I guess open to discussion.

That's seems to be one of the problems... I'm not there! I still have no explanation as to how I can workout 3-4x's per week, pinning 200 test e, every Tues & Sat without gaining weight, losing fat or adding strenth/muscle?

oxandrin BTG 2.5mg 3-4 X daily is good enough to see legit results but its too expensive

You can't make blanket statements like that about a testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) dose. I'll grant you, it's higher than most, but everyone is different. What makes a dose a "cycle" is entirely dependent on what dose is "baseline" for someone. If it takes 400mg for him to reach therapeutic test blood levels then it's not a cycle for him. For others that dose might put their levels into the 1500+ range. Point being, his dose is higher than most on testosterone replacement therapy (TRT), but it's not unheard of.

But is it unheard of, to not get any results from this dosage?

I would think. Are you sure about your gear? I'm assuming since it's part of a testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) program that the test is from a pharma company or a reputable compounding pharmacy.

Yes... you are correct, it is from a reputable pharmacy, so I'm as sure as I can be.

The first batch of 300 mg/ml seemed to be okay. At 150, 2x's per week, I was a walking hardon and even the dog was afraid. It made me sick after about a month, which I assumed was test flu, but they said they had other complaints and replaced it with the 200 mg/ml which didn't affect me as much.

They then had me increase to 200 twice per week and still no results. I have always been a little different in terms of the way that drugs affect me, but this is discouraging.

At 400 per week, it just doesn't seem to hit me like the 300 did. I also developed and erection issue and lowered libido a couple weeks after starting the new stuff.

Strange as it may sound, even thou I have not gained strength, muscle or weight, I did start growing hair on my stomach and several pimples that I did not develop on the first batch, as well as increased blood pressure.

True, but highly unlikely. I'd like to see the blood work. I'm willing to wager that at 400 mg/wk, his total/free test levels are elevated far beyond testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) guidelines. Therefore, my concern is that we are looking at either a: another chronic metabolic condition or b: counterfeit or mislabeled TE.

I'm leaning towards the possibility of a mislabeled vial. The rep is a damn good guy and the company has been around awhile. I'm assuming they don't stay in business by intentionally screwing their clients. Not to mention the liabilty factor, since it's all legit and government licensed.

There is just too much of a difference between the first vial of 300 mg/ml and the second vial of 200 mg/ml for there not to be some kind of mistake. At 300/week I was feeling better, until the flu caught up to me. Within a week or two of switching to the 200 mg/ml, I was starting to feel badly again and increasing it to 400mg per week did not help.
