went to get quote for buddies for gym for basic plan, $37.99 bi weekly.... when the fuck did it cost and arm and a leg to pick weights up and put them down.... on another note... how much do you guys pay, i pay $27 a month at same gym but sadly im have to switch gyms to something thats like $30/month to get my buddies to come with me....

Gym prices have actually gone down a little over the years if anything. I'm paying 20 a month right now, but I remember paying well over 45 a month in the 90's and something like 70 a month back when Bally's was THE place to go. I do miss my hole-in-the-wall here, they were also 20 a month, but had all the free weights and the RIGHT machines, not this abdominal machine crap or biceps curl machine.

Gym I go to is only 15/month, 24hr key card access.......dropping dumbells and grunting durin a heavy set is not only allowed.....IT'S ENCOURAGED!!! Lucky me!! At times I go late at night and im the only mofo in there!!! My gym is my second home, love that place!!!!!

I pay 40 bucks per month. It can get busy but it also depends on what time of the day I go to the gym. A buddy over mine says he is paying over a 100 per month for a gym in Boston area. Couldn't believe how expensive it was. It shouldn't cost that much to pound some iron. One day I would love to have my own workout facility with everything I need. Just kidding. Military gym sometimes but it's pretty small and gets very crowded so I usually go to an off base, no-nonsense gym. $20 a month/no contract. Pretty good deal and close to my house.
