How much Sleep??

I was just curious to know how many hrs of sleep a night you all try to get..since rest is a huge factor in muscle development?
 
I try to get 8-9 but usually get 5-6, and very, very rarely more than 7. Back when I was still at home, I didn't get off work until 9, and then still had to get in my lifting and homework after that. Now, I get done in the training room around 7-8, still have to train, and never can manage to get in bed before midnight (usually later). Then I get up for 8 am classes.

Somewhere a while back, I read that people who get 5-6 hours of sleep per night live quite a bit longer than people who get a "full 8." Whoever did the study wasn't able to identify the mechanism(s) that caused that, but it was a pretty wide ranging study.
 
5-7 during the week

8-12 on the weekend depending on the drinking the night before

Any reason why you have a 20hr day? If not I would strongly suggest you try get a few more hours in the pit it cant be good for muscle gains. What are your stats if you dont mind me asking?

I have 2 jobs, a wife, and 2 young kids. Main reason for not getting much sleep is because I get up @ 0300 to eat breakfast and lift @ 0430. I do this to not miss time with my children.

Thats fuckin hardcore bro you have my respect there Gettin your training in and spendin time with your kids,not many fathers like that anymore. You sir are a role model to a future father.
