How To Prevent Acne On TRT?

i always take a multivitamin. Ive tried everything from different scrubs, different soaps, to not washing at all for a day. Seems like same results. Sun definitely helps and so does washing twice a day, but its pain to get in the shower again at night or get all wet over the sink etc. I may discuss this the next time with my endo

Reason I stopped taking a multi-vitamin is because I thought that it might be causing acne. And then I stopped eating fruits as well. That's when my acne really stopped. But fruits are so healthy I need to get back on 'em so I'm going to start one fruit at a time from the 6-7 different ones I used to eat to see which one causes it. I think it's bananas. At first glance you might think it's the sugar spike in fruits (even though it's natural and you get some fiber to go along with it)...but it's not because I eat processed sugar and nothing happens.

Stopping the multi and fruits about 6mos ago finally stopped all my acne but my weightlifting has brought it back. I'm going to get my test levels checked probably on Wednesday.

they always say diet has nothing to do with acne, but I CALL bs ON THAT

i use ntbm (need to build muscle's) n2 clear N2-CLEAR's natural skin cleansing formula uses the power of Emu Oil to deliver natural anti bacterial ingredients deep into the skin, stopping bacteria before it even starts. it's an acne fighting cream you put on in the shower. everybody swears by this stuff i started it a few weeks ago because of all the great reviews on here and everywhere else and it must be that and/or the other vitamins i'm taking that i got from them which has vitamin b5 (pantothenic acid) which is supposed to help with acne. anyway i put on that cream stuff every other day in the shower and take the vitamins every day and i'm not going through a full breakout of acne or anything but, like every other day or so i'll see a new zit popup somewhere, sometimes on my forehead, arms, chest but, then like in a couple days it starts dying on it's own and going away. normally i'd have to use oxy like 3 times a day for a week or so to get a fresh zit to start dying.

also there's a 15% off promo code they have don't remember what it is, just google it

Oh yes, diet definitely has a LOT to do with acne. In fact, I also can't eat processed cheese products such as Doritos, or anything that has a slightly salty/milk-based flavoring (cheese crackers, any cheese related snack essentially). I also can't eat popcorn for some reason, even the fat-free kind. (can't eat butter either) But I can eat very oily potato chips and nothing happens and I can even drink "some" milk (as in the amount that one might get from a bar of ice cream) and that's fine as well.

Anyway, gotta go pump lots of iron for a couple of days before I get my test levels checked so that I can see whether or not the levels have spiked or not.

thanks for the info username1. I am going to give that N2-Clear a try.

No problem!

Also the other thing I do that I've seen recommended is to take a cool shower after your work outs, because the sweat or oils can create bacteria which can lead to acne. So, I take two showers a day one in the morning which is the usual then one after I workout.

Oh I agree, but everything from the medical community largely says that diet is not a major factor, again I high disagree. personally I think they say that in order to keep people in their offices and on medication instead of losing a customer by telling them to knock off eating the garbage. But still there would be people left like some in here that dont matter what still have a problem.

diet is not a problem at all for me. The only time I had acne was in my teenage years just like everyone else.

I am 44 now and I only started getting the acne after I went on TRT. Actually when I was on my dose of 100mg/week I still never had acne. It was when I upped my dose to 200mg/week is when the acne started to come.
