have high cholesterol levels, body naturally produces it (230). just did blood work. still alittle high. NO drugs to treat it yet. trying to naturally get it down.oats, acids, flax oil etc.. eat right, diet right. about to start a cycle. first in a few years. how will gear effect my cholesterol levels.? going to do EQ with test then Winstrol (winny) towards end of cycle. Thanks to all who help?

test and eq may have a small negative affect on ldl and hdl. Some people react worse than others, winstrol on the other hand is the worst steroid i can think off in regards to hdl. It will lower your hdl dramatically. Get your cholesterol under control before you start. Their are some great threads here about cholesterol, do a search, that is the easeist way to get all the info you need.

Depends on the amount of testosterone.

People with low testosterone that go on Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT) actually improve their cholesterol profile.

Anecdotally, I've read people say that Test really doesn't start messing up your cholesterol profile until over 500mg/wk. Some of the Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT) docs though have said that's it starts getting bad as soon as you go over normal physiological levels of test (@100mg/wk).

Probably just a good idea to do before & after lipid profiles so each person knows how their body reacts.

yeah, i know all about Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT) and cholesterol, but that really isn't what we are looking at, and you are correct i have heard the same thing about 500mg, but i would still get it under control before going on cycle. ;)
