How would you do things differently...

If you started your bb'ing journey over again??

I put this here because steroids are a big part of this questions

I have been pondering on all levels of life lately and reading the threads here got me thinking about my own bb'ing journey and the fact that I am returning to it.

To make more sense of the question what I mean is...

1-would you have used steroids sooner/later
2-concentrated more on nutrition/training first
3-took lower/hogher doses
4-paid more attention to the after supps ie clomid, hcg, etc
5-not touched xyz product(no brand names just the product ie d-boll, winstrol, dont need to start any lab wars here)
6-listened to the older guys more

I think you get the picture

Another reason I put this up is because a younger member sent me a pm the other day and stated what he was going to use in the future which I thought was insane, he was joking but I figured that something like this question I have set forth may save some people alot of time effort and frustration, espec coming from some of the guys here with the amazing builds. I am sure we all have ups and downs with bb'ing so lets here it.

My first and only cycle at age 42 was great.
Test cyp 300mg wk for ten weeks
Tren 75mg EOD for six weeks.
Clomid Therapy for three weeks post cycle (don't know if I would use Clomid again, made me feel like shit)
My only regret is waiting until age 36 to start lifting.

1-I would have never touched fina or d-bol(hairloss)
2-I would not have bulked/cut, bulked/cut, I would have just stayed fairly lean and just built muscle on a lean frame rather than just getting fat then cutting and end up with the same amount of muscle I would have had in the first place.I am not a big fan of extreme body weight fluctuations anymore,it puts too much stress on your body.

Me too. I didn't start 'til age 40. I'd like to push that back to about age 13 or so. Where's my fairy godmother when I really need her?

Made bodybuilding more of a religion than just something I enjoy doing.

In the past I would skip workouts to sleep in, hang out with friends, etc. If I had to do it all over again I would put bodybuilding above all else and if my friends, girlfriends, etc. couldn't understand it, well too bad for them.
