DEATH to "The Club Boys"!
I am losing about a pound a day on my diet.

How unhealthy is this? I feel good, and have been getting stronger in the gym. I am going to try to keep it up as long as I feel good.

I'm getting about 20-40 carbs a day, around 15 fat, I have no idea how many cals I am getting.

I put 10 scoops of 100% whey in a gallon of water and drink it through out the whole day. I will also eat carrots, and some chicken or egg whites.

The last few days my food intake was extremely minimal, but not because I was trying not to eat food. Just didn't feel like eating. I think its the fat burners I am taking ... I think they are messing with my appetite.

FYI:
I am drinking a lot of water everyday to.

As long as i feel good, can I keep going?

PS
I am going to go have a burrito now - its my cheat day.

whoa. Just know that if this goes on for long, you will most likely lose muscle alogn with it. As a matter of fact, muscle weights more than fat.. so you might be losing muscle and fat.

I would seriously track exactly how much protien you are getting a day

Buddy is right....... shoot for a pound or two a week .....or suffer muscle loss:(

your cals have to be REALLY low...

when you go off of it and start eating normally, you will gain A LOT of fat.

if you've only been doing this a week or so, it's likely water loss, but DO expect to lose a lot of muscle that way, regardless.

Where can I go to get an accurate bf analysis? That way I could try to maintain my muscle while losing fat.

I haven't noticed any loss of muscle, but that doesn't mean what I lost was only fat and water. I don't have very much muscle and I don't want to lose any of it.

How many cals does it take to maintain a pound of muscle?

Its about 300-350g a day I get almost 300 from the 100% whey, and the rest with chicken, fish.

I think my major concern is with the calories?

I might up the fat intake a lot for more cals. I really need to find out how much lean mass I have

Go get some ketostix from CVS or Walgreens, piss on them in the morning, they will tell you if you are metabolizing fat or not

Cool.
I have a Walgreens right by my home. Never heard of ketostix, but I will sure check it out.

Thanks

Hmmm. I lost another 3 pounds in one day. Now I am 225.

Until I know for sure what my bf percentage is, I think I am going to aim at around 2300 calories. I am going to up my fat intake via Muscle Milk - about 3 servings a day, along with about 6 scoops of 100% whey until my protein factory order gets here. I will still eat my chicken and fish and veggies. Plus my cheat day every week.

In a few day days I will have lost 20 lbs in 3 weeks. I feel great and have been told by many people that I look a lot thinner in my face and belly. :D

Man I am on a low-carb diet (carb<20g/day), been on it for almost 2 weeks now. I took one week without any supplementation and lost 5 lbs. This week, week 2, I added 60 mcg of clen a day and have already lost 7 lbs. Next week I will complement my regimine by adding T3.

The thing about ketostix are they detect ketones in the urine stream. Ketones are produced when the body metobolizes fat. They are found in your urine and believe it or not, your breath. I check mine every morning to make sure I am not burning all muscle.

My workouts have not suffered, I lift 5 times a week and do 45 min of low to moderate cardio a day. Protein intake is like 300 g a day which is easy when on a low-carb diet, hell all I eat is meat.

If your bf% is high like mine, then your body is going to burn alot of fat. Seems like you are doing well, keep up the good work!

If you have just started the diet, a LOT of what you initially lost could be just be water.

initially starting to workout you will lose like 10 pounds in the first week or 2 (i did), its pretty much just water weight, and a lot of that comes from your face (the thinner face compliments) due to sweating, even though you are drinking lots of water. i would say 1 pound a day is unhealthy depending on a few things. are you on clen or t-3? that will definitly make you drop pounds faster, 2. you said your 225? how tall are you? if your 6'0 or taller you shouldnt be losing that fast, but if your shorter and have high bf% then youll definitly lose weight... but it sounds like your not eating enough food man for real! i aim for about 300 g of protein a day, and that is currently without protein supps (waiting in the mail) so im constantly eating, not losing weight, but losing fat.

up until 2 days ago i had been on clen for 3 weeks 2 day on 2 day off pattern, and i didnt lose any weight at all... however i do notice my stoumach is flatter and i think my shoulders are a bit bigger (you can check it out in the member pics area) ive been at 205 forever it seems like... if i stop working out, i notice i start gettin a belly, but i stay the same weight, if i start working out, ill stay the same weight but my shape will change... and my face will thin out...
