I believe that the Major league Baseball should allow players to seek HRT Clinics

why not players get old too and could benefit recovery faster after injuries, now that A rod & 12 other players are suspended because they were seen by a doctor on an Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT) clinic isn't that legal ? why not allow them to play?

Because they're OH MY GOSH STEROIDS. Sadly the general public is so blinded by propaganda they don't realize that women take steroids DAILY... in the form of birth control pills or that testosterone replacement is needed for many of us. They're all worried that Nike/Wheaties/Starter/Gatorade/etc will lose money because people might actually start to see that you don't turn into an angry green monster that eats kittens when you take AAS. I agree, they should be allowed to play.

Politics suck. :(

I don't think Nike or sponsors, or even money is the issue here.

Stupidity and the old guard are the issue. Many, many people stand to make money from AAS. Very few people that I can think of, would lose money from AAS. Think of doctors making more money, pharmaceutical companies, insurance companies that see an improvement in the health of their clients for an inexpensive therapy, etc., etc. Who stands to lose money? Supplement companies? If it were legal through supplement companies, they stand to gain a ton. If it wasn't legal through supplement companies, they would still keep almost all of their customers because lets face it - steroid users still use supplements.

What it boils down to is changing social norms and shaking things up. Politicians are fearful and won't do that. I agree, politics suck.

I believe every professional athlete should be allowed to take as much AAS as necessary to become entertaining.

We watch sports to be entertained do we not?

I was using popular sports sponsors as they too benefit from this "clean" image that our "heroes" portray by pleading to the masses that they're drug free. Absolutely big pharma and the supplement industries would stand to lose vast sums of money, but this trickles down to all the businesses that benefit from this bold-faced lie. Would people still buy their shoes from Nike if they found out that sports records are broken by Joe Blow using vast quantities of AAS? Probably. But they, like all the other sponsors, would seem less credible as contributors to the success of said athlete.

Six degrees of separation, et cetera. ;)

We definitely agree on one thing though, social norms and political agendas do suck.
