i dont know where to post this, but the problem with ology is back (virus detector)

soo i know a month or so ago we had the problem where browsers were telling us the ology is infected with some sort of virus or malware... well the last few days its been happening again and when i clicked on where it says this page is not harmful or whatever i got relocated to this site......(pic) -- sorry i didnt know where to post this i looked for a troubleshooting thread or w.e

Yeah. I don't think it's an actual problem. It's just been REPORTED as an attack page. If a couple of people do that and the report goes to whoever makes their browser or AV or whatever it prolly gets put on some warning list. I just click ignore. People who want to infect your computer, target pron sites or sites offering free stuff.

Yeah this is it, I had to allow it in my settings so it would stop coming up malware threats

Of course it's not, this was more a message to the admins not a topic to start a discussion

AVG actually finds the threat and removes it. I don't know if I would go so far as to allow a site that's getting reported.

Anyways, you never know what can happen in the future...there may or not be a threat today, but giving a site carte Blanche in ur settings can come back to haunt you in the future.

Make sure you've got a good anti-virus/malware program and UPDATE IT. Then come back to this site and let it remove/quarantine the questionable files.
 
THere is no threat. It's BS someone posted a link to a file sharing site that got hacked and was serving malware. Steroidology. doen't have any Malware.We are waiting for Google to clear it.

I use firefox and have never seen it. If your using Internet Exploder that may be why, from my experience it sucks balls.
